Re: OO-TUC

There is nothing wrong with TUC. Some of the 737's have a lot more tech problems then TUC has! And it has a brand new interior. probably better than JAP to fly on for the moment

Re: 2010 Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news

The aircrafts markings said "strategic", but I have never heard of such a company. Also the pax didn't know where they were going. Check-in desks as the airport said "destination mystère" :)

VERY low passing aircraft

Hi everyone,

When I came out of the supermarket in Aalst about 10 minutes ago (16:15) I saw an aircraft passing overhead at max. 3000ft. It looked to me like an A330 or B777 and was flying with a lot of sideslip if you ask me :-s Anybody knows what it was??

Grtz,
Sean

Re: Ryanair on board luggage policy vs air safety procedures

If they wouldn't focus on security and operational procedures sir, you would have taken off with on time. WITH the 3 extra passengers and no double checking, Be happy "the show" was there for your safety

Re: 2/6 JAF3198 Going around at CRL

Hey Marten, A go arounf is quite a common manoeuvre that's being done at a regular rate. After 7 years of flying as a cabin crew member I can't count on 20 hands how many I had :) Anyway, as the weather was really good yesterday, the main reason would have probably been because the runway was not ye...

Look at that. Suddenly all Ryanair haters' comments don't make sense anymore. Must be a bitter pill to swallow 8-)

Re: Ryanair comes back to Ostend !

Heum sorry but I could book a flight at the end of june with Ryanair for 45,18 EUR and at the end of September for 86,13 EUR . Prices you will never find at JAF me thinks. Also, have you ever stopped to consider how many belgian people work for ryanair? More then 200 pilots alone in CRL, most of the...

Re: Travel Magazine: Belgian fleets become very old !

There is nothing wrong with OO-TUC, all the 737's have more downtime then TUC. It's just more noticeable because the 767's are flying a VERY thight schedule. I hope the coming 787, which WILL come, will just add to the fleet rather than replacing a 767.

Re: Ethiopian 737-800 crashes into the Mediterranean (25/01/10)

Speaking of FR, the accident plane was an ex-Ryanair. Was parked in April 09 and sold in September 09. Was flying for Ethiopian since December 09. The registration in FR was EI-CSW, with additional "Girona, Costa Brava" titles. A plane that I worked on a lot when it was brand new in the co...

Re: 2010 Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news

uhu? That's what they said on friday. We only have 1000 litres. We can't de-ice you. Then on saturday they suddenly had 4000 litres and they agreed to de-ice us. First they said, board the pax now, we will be there at 11.00Z, then it was 12.30Z, then it was 14.00Z. Lucky for us the snow melted after...

Re: 2010 Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news

Heum, Not really. I was Purser on the flight. FNI was closed because they don't have snowplowers to clear the runway of snow. We eventually got stuck for the night in Montpellier because it started snowing there as well and the only de-icing fluid belonged to Air France, who did not want to de-ice u...

Re: JAF OO-TUC refurbishing/D-check

Hello, OO-TUC D-check scheduled for early next year feb-mar, not sure on how they will keep up the schedule, maybe lease in, meanwhile cabin refurbishment is taking place gradually while still flying on the line. TUC is staying for another 3 years The NG's leased out to Canjet will return in may, me...
