Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
If you look at https://sites.google.com/site/lhgroupfleet/brussels you'll see that OO-SFU will leave the fleet also, but only in one year (March 2020) ... So for the time being it will be still at 10 planes from then onwards ... unless some of the A330 additional aircraft planned by LH are for SN (s...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Question,
Will OO-SFF be with the new cabin outfit when it joins the fleet in June, or will it start flying and then be transformed at a later stage?

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Business class seems the same as the business class in LX (B777).
I just was on one of their flights in business to SIN and I recognize many of the details
Will check when taking a SN flight to Washington in May if it has the new interior of course

Re: Flybmi ceases operations
What could this mean for LH and SN flights?
I recently noticed that Adria Airways and Air Dolomiti are doing more and more 'regional' flights for LH (e.g. often the flight MUC-BRU is with the latter).
Would we see them also flying for SN?

Re: Brussels Airlines' monthly traffic figures
We really miss the official SN figures. :( You asked for it, you get it! In 2018, SN operated 80,505 flights and transported 10,026,241 passengers, sorry, guests. That is a new record and an increase of 10.5% over 2017 (+9.7% on the European network, +16.9% on the African network, +6.0% on the Nort...

Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines
The remaining CityJet's aircraft have been operating for SN as their last flights: - EI-FWB : stored in VCE since 11JUN18 - EI-FWD : stored in BRU since 20JUN18 What will happen with those aircraft in the future ? As per the same https://sites.google.com/site/lhgroupfleet/brussels one is in mainten...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
But LH has no spare aircraft; why would they give it some of them SN?
I think they will stick to the SSJ for the time being ... another solution will need more time.
Just my two cents
D
PS: BTW, I was on an CRJ900 yesterday and a lot less comfortable than the SSJ100 ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Maybe, but what makes you think/say that?
What could replace the SSJ. Some routes are thin and can't sustain A319, some airports can't host them ...
So what would be the solution.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
I see that SN plans to have more SSJ's
See https://sites.google.com/site/lhgroupfleet/brussels
I assume one remains for some time 'inactive', another would be a kind of reserve. 5 could become operational. Or would SN go for 7 in total?

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Hi all, I have a more general question on the 'preparation' of the 'new' A330 of SN. The painting is clear and it seems it can be done in many different places (FCO, ...). What else are they doing? On https://sites.google.com/site/lhgroupfleet/brussels you can see they are 'preparing' some of them a...
