Re: Angry Jet4You passengers refuse to leave aircraft

No matter who is right here, Regi.... i personally think your comment re " I don't believe that in the US passengers would have been treated differently " is not right. Anyway, it happened and we all as aviation enthousiastst give our comments, because of this great forum, LJ and Euroflyer...

Re: Angry Jet4You passengers refuse to leave aircraft

The reply from SN-remember seems to be the closest to the reality. If this would happen in the US, insurgents would be taken out the plane asap. But as we (luchtzak readers) live in Europe (sorry to our US readers), mentality is different, and before the forces would intervene, it takes a bit longer...

Re: belgian charter companies

Hey, All depending on what you call as "the best". All three (TNT/TC/JAF) have great and professional trained pilots, all three have great and experienced Cabin Crews. Most of them come from Sabena/Sobelair/Citybird/EBA/etc... All three have also new recruits in the cockpit and Cabin, all ...

Re: Live flight tracking

Hey guys, Nice link. Difficult to say which is the most updated and best. (Casper live tracking or this Radar Virtuel. I have the impression both have their positive and negative sites. On Casper, i see the planes really moving forward, but on Radar Virtuel, i can click on the plane and gets all nec...

Re: Live air traffic above BE

Hey guys,

Thanks for the great link.
Amazing.
Just witnessed the EK A380 overflying my head at FL380.

Does anyone know at what Eurocontrol frequency they are in contact with ATC, when they overfly Brussels?

regards,

Re: Brussels Airport ATC strike between 1800 and 2000 LT today ?

Dear, I have respect for all parties concerned, and in case of heavy work load, understaffed personal and putting Air Safety in danger, I completly agree with he anger of the concerned ATC staff. Never ever Air Safety can be put in jeopardy, whatever it takes. On the other hand, the concerned party ...

Re: Article on Brussels Airport

Hey, It does not surprise me at all that cy's like Air Mauritius, Singapore Airlenes, Thai, MH, etc..... stopped serving BRU. Recently, i booked a flight from BRU to MNL (Manila), (C-class) and found out that EY had expensive fares ex BRU, but Euro 1200,00 cheaper ex CDG. Knowing the price of a TGV ...

Re: Brussels Airlines to Johannesburg??? Any chance to reopen?

Hey guys, Please please, let us all be realistic. Of course there is no chance at all that Brussels AL would re-open destinations like JNB, BKK, SIN or other exotic places, eventough SA, TG and SQ are Star members. Even a 2 or 3 weekly service via FRA is out of the question by SA. Destinations like O...

Dear LX-LGX, Obviously, (and for others, it's very clear too) you want to know every little detail re the delays of OO-TUC. As being an insider, i can tell you the latest delay was due to costums at CUN, as the repair piece( a new starter) was flown in to CUN immediatly after the technical problem b...

Both planes will be painted in the full JAF colors, but not before they are sure they can be put on the Belgian register, (OO).Far from being sure as BCAA refuses it,due lots of anomalities operationwise.

Hey BRUBIAC

The DO being Belgian for Jet Airways sounds a bit strange for a big Indian Carrier, now opening a hub in BRU....
Maybe they will appoint someone for the hub-operations in BRU, but being a Belgian sounds a bit wishfull thinking

Hey, Just for your info regarding the JAF fleet expansion, the -500 ex Hapag lloyd Express was supossed to add the JAF fleet earlier this month, but due to a negative audit from BCAA earlier, BCAA does not accept to put another airplane on the Belgian register (OO) for JAF as long as things are not ...
