eindhoven would make sense but ... you can notice that eindhoven have only destinations that charleroi had before ... So Charleroi is the test lab, and if it works, they can provide the same to dutch people without the need to travel 300km. But maybe i'm only half wrong and both charleroi and eindho...

I dont understand why ryanair would need anything else than its own success to fly transatlantic. This company is a bulldozer, they'll do whatever they wanna do and it's all good for people with limited budget like many among us. I completely imagine some new bases for transatlantic flight, like ......

3 companies are actually interested by the old terminal.

This is a very good news for Charleroi, becoming more and more a very credible alternative to Brussels Airport.

Another very good news for charleroi today : SNCB/NMBS planed the rail connection in the 2008-2012 budget.

Note also that the airshow is at the military air base.
The civil airport is at the other side.
There will be some bus between the 2.

Also note that most of cargo flight are during the night and during weekdays.
It's not rare to see some B747 though.

The public transportation between the main train station and the airport is quite bad indeed. That's because the airport is mainly used for cargo operations. They might have some special bus for the occasion though, the airshow is quite a big thing. In any case, remember that the main bus station of...
