Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Riadh Bahri, aviation watcher for VRT says that the news that the EU is being difficult about the rescue plan is fake. There have not yet been talks between SN and the EU. Also the news that Lufthansa would have agreed with the Belgian governement about the influence of the state is not true. Someon...

Okay, thanks for clarification! Any idea on why the housing and the data module would be separated? It would be by the huge impact I presume?

Some media do say that the CVR also has been found. The source mentioned below, states that PIA said that both devices have been found. Who is correct, PIA or DEA?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Any news about the negotiations? Aren't they out of money end of this week? When can we expect some news? I think they want to keep their progressions quiet. Otherwise, there will be too many speculations, like we have seen in the past weeks. I hope they come out with good news as soon as possible.

Re: Impact of COVID-19 in BRU network development

Air Tanzania is looking at Europe, since Tanzania isn’t served from BRU maybe this could be one. Tanzania is connected to Brussels, as TUI has direct flights to Zanzibar. I think you mean mainland Tanzania, which should then mean flights to Dar-Es-Salaam and/or Kilimanjaro. Well, if everything goes...

Can we please stop accusing each other of being insulting? It doesn't matter who did it, and if this person aknowledges it or not, as long as it doesn't happen that much any more in the future.
Maybe these posts should be removed by the admins?
So, can we go back to the topic?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

When do we expect to see an official list of destinations being dropped? There are two ways to draw such a list. Either do a profitability analysis of each destination and cut the ones deemed not viable in the short-to-mid term then make changes to the fleet; or start by setting fleet-wide financia...

Re: Air Antwerp in 2020

Aberdeen was actually a short-lived, but good selling route. But then again, maybe air antwerp shouldn’t be doing the same routes that already failed 2-3 times with VLM. At the other hand, they are backed by KLM, so if they look for good niche markets it will be a success for sure. But KLM is flyin...

Very strange: Lufthansa flight LH929, from London City (LCY) to Frankfurt (FRA) diverted to Brussels Airport (BRU). Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines

3 brands all right, but isn't Air Transat part of Air Canada too now? In that case, it's pretty much irrelevant who you'd fly with as these flights all fall unter the A++ joint venture, sharing all costs and revenues as if they were one single airlines? or is Air Transat's purchase not completed ye...
