Anybody read 'Het Nieuwsblad' this morning ? A Canadian Entrepreneur is planning to use Brussels as an European hub for his new airline. From Brussels Canada World airlines would fly to the major EU airports, Africa Dubai & Montreal. Sounds like another castle in the sky to me. Why would one fly...

Airworld Expo

The Airworld Exposition (now at the Vitra design museum in Germany, see article by Luigi Vallero in Airways magazine october 2004 p. 14 e.s.) is coming to Ghent, from march 18th through june 19th 2005.
Anybody interested in airline design can not afford to miss this excellent exposition.

Als dit boek je zo interessant lijkt : er is een grote kans dat het het in boekhandel 'De Slegte' (filialen o.m. in Gent, Antwerpen, Leuven, Brugge, ...) in de 2de handsafdeling vindt....

It is true that two identical 747's are most usually used as presidential planes. It is also true that wich ever plane the presidenst is flying on is called 'Air Force 1'. If he's flying a helicopter though, this heli is called 'marine 1'

Air Bourbon A-340 F-OITN appeared through the fog on saturdaymorning dec. 5th at the SN-technics-apron. Does anybody know how long it's going to stay in Brussels and what the next assignment will be for this beautifull bird ?
