Just look at what’s below the final approach for a straight in on 07L and you have your answer.

Could be due to marginal weather at EBOS.
At a certain point BKN001 was on the ATIS.

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR
A rather large mobile crane is erected in the vicinity of stands 140-144, and might interfere with various signals needed for landing on 25R.
Hence, 25R is closed for landings. Ad hoc visual approaches might be a possibility.

Some problems with de-/anti-icing systems apparently.
The flight in question was later on flown with a B738 from BRU instead.

I have a feeling the A330s are also needed dearly to operate the normal long haul schedule, and they don’t really have a spare to operate a charter flight.

I heard the same thing some time ago.
However, I wouldn't consider it improbable or even impossible for them to perform that analysis on site in Bangor.

There have been reports of 7+ UAVs in the air around EGKK simultaneously, some reports even mentioned “petrol powered” UAVs. This is a delibarate act to bring one of the UK’s biggest airports to a standstill, not some kid w...

I seem to recall it’s in LJU for a C-check?
And if I remember it correctly, it won’t return sporting the Tintin colour scheme, but it will return in SN colours.
