Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

SFX is finished since last week, it’s paperwork stuff that’s holding back the release.
SFH is indeed in Amman to get its new cabin.
It could/should go somewhat smoother indeed... :?

Re: Airbus A350 XWB news

Lessor Avolon (Ireland) has dropped four A350-900s from its total order of 14, while adding 10 more A330-900s to reach 37. Is the A330neo better from an economic point of view than the A350? It depends. The trip cost of an A330neo is lower than for an A350, so when the demand isn't there to fill up...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

I meant: how is it going to change anything that YOU know how big the bill is? If YOU could something about it, you would know how much it is. The people and managers that can do something about it, are very much aware of the costs and it is one of their priorities to get it under control and within...

Is it also painted in the modified Brussels Airlines colours with the white belly, like OO-SFF?
How long does the cabin retrofit usually take?
It's still in CX colors, but without the titles. It will be painted after the cabin mod.

OO-SFH is currently flying from HKG to AMM for cabin retrofit. It's the last one (7th) of the current A330 refleet program.

Even in that case, the pricing is also set by supply and demand.

Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines

Strange logic: -you support incentives which make your comfortable nonstop flight more expensive -you are happy to subsidise the seat next to you, which will reduce your comfort due to connecting delays, airspace and airport congestion... But as you say, you are free to do so! Your logic is flawed ...

It is probably the acceptance flight by the lessor/owner, it covers a complete flight as well as some emergency procedures. SFW will be parted out, this was very likely its very last flight. Ever.

As from 1 January, LH will sell the flights, EW will concentrate on EU short haul. (This is already known for a long time.)
For SN, the operator of the flights, nothing will change.
