Re: Aviation trips for people like us !
I too would be very interested in this initiative. 70 Euros for a roundtrip sounds like a fair price to me, costs outside of the flights depend on the duration of stay etc.

Care to share where you were standing? That doesn't really look like a spotter's place I'm familiar with...
After some tracing... Am I right when I say you were standing here?

The parking close to Abelag isn't bad either We were just taking a break from courses at JAF when United's 777 went up... Can't really say I like the new livery though...

Re: BRU 31/01/2011 [QTR 1st flight to EBBR]
Too bad it was overcast, so we couldn't see the BAF escort. We did hear them though
Touch down was at 12:17 zulu.
Shortly after Qatar's 330 we had a Luftwaffe 320-series and an Etihad 330 too, nice day...

Re: Boeing Delivers First 737 Boeing Sky Interior to Contine
The only thing I don't like about it, is the exterior... I loved the "new" United livery, and now they're putting that 90's style (not in a good way) Continental livery on it... oh boy.

Re: Marketing TCA
I'm afraid there's not a lot you can do about it. The statement "We're free to change hours or flights" was probably already there when you booked your flight. I hope for you it wasn't (with proof) else you're at a loss I'm afraid.

According to ATIS (and Grimbergen radio): this morning, calibration flights at EBBR rwy 25R. What aircraft? They were performing calibrations on 20 yesterday and this morning too, F-HCEV has been passing over my house for two days now. Still wondering, what does the calibration procedure actually c...

Indeed it is... slightly more inward and a tad behind it is also some damage, chances are the fuel tanks are damaged too. If you're following the thread at airliners.net, there is a picture taken from inside the aircraft while it was landing, the damage seems to be pretty bad.

Re: Accident Airbus A340 of Turkish Airlines @ Brussels Airp
One engine out ferry flights are common practice on quads. The only thing that needs to happen is an authorization made by the OEM and the authorities. However, one engine out ferry flight on a twin have, as far as I know, never happened. Just to clarify, the plane takes off, flies and lands, all on...

I see a LH 747F listed to depart around 22.30 tonight, but no sign of it arriving today.... was that one an overnighter or just a charter?
