Keep on dreaming, or Delta will play it out alone (not likely) or they merge with NW which is their best option of all.
You will see how strong the Skyteam influence is in this matter ;)

The Wall Street Journal reports on Wednesday (Jan 10, 2007) that Northwest and Delta are in talks for a possible merger. (Reuters) The newspaper said representatives of the two carriers, which are No. 3 and No. 5 in the United States respectively, have met regularly for weeks discussing a possible ...

Travel a lot with Delta also and was always satisfied with their service.
Really nice is the flight ATL-LIM-ATL which let you fly the 764, it looks enormous and is very comfortable.

I will reply all in one to some comments on my last posts. I agree in that case it was a schedule problem since they should have adjusted their schedules when 3 planes were AOG. However, they were wet leasing 757's from Air Italia but it was still not efficient enough. 2nd comment I saw was that the...

Can't it also be a schedule problem? Too many flights for a too small fleet? No that wasn't the issue. Main problem was that 3 airplanes were AOG and Air Madrid refused to cancel flights, this brought the problems and huge delays. If they should have cancelled flights to fly the schedule which was ...

Already wrote this in my other article, how and when should my mom in law get back? I feel this is not going to be brought to a good end, this is going to cost a lot of extra euros i am afraid, or the spanish governement should do something for stranded passengers. However, she supposed to fly back ...

Come on it is not a new low cost carrier! Transavia.com (which is 100% owned by KLM) is just opening an office in France and start operating flights from Orly. So it will not be a new LCC but just a new operating base from Transavia.com. Transavia will fly from Orly to destinations which are not flo...

Come on please, you said it yourself, more people have accidents and worse by car then in a plane! MD-11 always had a nice signature: "the most dangerous part is driving to the airport by car". Just try to enjoy the flight again, sit back, relax and if you get some turbulence just close yo...

Maybe it will take time but I can not be excited about the livery at all.
