Re: Impact of the coronavirus on aviation
Brussels Airlines seems to be ignoring an EASA recommendation concerning Corona (https://ad.easa.europa.eu/blob/EASA_SIB_2020_02_R1.pdf/SIB_2020-02R1_1) Flew with them twice in recent days and both times the APU was only started when closing the doors, quite surprising as SN is carrying a lot of co...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
Show time at BRU this evening. About one hundred passengers are surrounding the SN ticketing desk. Apparently unhappy campers of derailed SN371 to DLA this morning. BRU web site still announces an SN373 to depart for NSI/DLA at 16:30 but that seems optimistic if it is meant for today. Dozens of Pol...

SN's schedule from Russia is an afternoon flight to Brussels. That doesn't cater for African connection.

I was contacted by Niky Terzakis, CEO of Air Belgium. Interesting to see that Mr. Terzakis reads this forum... Or at least has an assistant informing him about it... Good work, luchtzak!! Regards, Duke I don't want to break your joy, but I'm not really sure Mr Terzakis or his team has a happy/proud...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
SN should keep the flights to JFK as they bring in a lot of passengers for their African connections. Strange that British Airways can earn over 1 billion with a route between London Heathrow and JFK and SN is losing money! Top 10 routes: 1. British Airways : London-Heathrow – New York-JFK ($1,159,1...

It's the new Lufthansa Group Euro White livery, a new concept André wrote about. Heavily contested by some members: https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/a-ne ... -airlines/C96C wrote: ↑27 Aug 2019, 10:26 OO-SFP has a hybrid (old)LH/EW-livery, stickered?

Any personal reaction from Arnaud Feist ? Or is he basking in the sun and still basking in his glory ? I saw him on saturday with another guy from BAC. When someone was complaining about the sorter problems he didn't say any word. Brussels airport was more interested in communicating the lowest pos...

Somehow OO-SFC diverted to GVA according to FR24 was flying EBB-BRU as SN455 but then landed in Cairo, where it took off again and landed in Geneva https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/oo-sfc https://www.brusselsairport.be/en/passengers/flights/arriving?search=Cairo&iata=CAI&companio...

I am still hoping on a Walibi - Six Flags scenario: the owners (Six Flags) decided to change the name from Walibi to Six Flags (2001-2004), only to discover that less people visited the park, after they reinstated the brand name Walibi the park flourished more than ever.

You're saying "nobody noticed" while giving yourself a link to an article on this site's home page!? :? Anyway, if the fuel contamination is confirmed, it should be cause for big concern! Btw, the incident was reported in the "Anomalies..." topic as well. You can keep on discuss...

I am surprised nobody noticed the engine flame-out on the A330, after restarting the engine, the second engine failed during approach BRU. Suspecting fuel contamination in Kinshasa Airport. IMO this could have gone a lot worse! https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/lufthansa-group/brussels-airlines/a-...
