Re: Korongo Airlines

Yes,these flights were a great initiative. I was on SN1005 and the planes were really full. But, as far as I'm correct, they were able to offer it for such low prices as personnel wasn't paid that day. The reason why it never was organised again during 'Openbedrijvendag'.

Re: Korongo Airlines

A very nice idea (I already sent you a PM). I did already a 'doopvlucht' on the 2nd of October in 2005 with the Avro of SN because I really like the type, my favourite aircraft after the A345/6. On that day they did several flights (8 or 10 if I'm not wrong) for around €50. Routing was takeoff from ...

I'm also wondering this as Hainan Airlines often diverts with fog while most of all the other traffic doesn't have any problems.

Re: The one and only which runway in use @ EBBR-topic

Runway 20 for sure, starting from the morning till at least somewhere in the early evening. Winds are expected to be around 22kts at peak during the mid of the day with gusts up to 48kts. The bad weather is the reason why I also don't go spotting on thursday, although such high winds can be impressi...

Re: BRU 08/06/2010 - Lufthansa Airbus A380

I think the hill at Brucargo is the best for photographing purposes (arrival), that's at least the spot where I think I'll be at for the arrival. The plane vacates in front of you and the sun comes from the right direction. Most of the buses (or even all buses?) drive along the B-House and the end o...

Re: New Brussels Airport spotting guide

Hi airtrotter, Normally the signs with the letters from every spot appear on the satellite image from google. If it doesn't there must be something wrong with your internet as this is the first complaint I hear about that. Normally you should see this: http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e138/Sabena32...

A new and detailed spotting guide has recently been completed and is available here: http://www.flightlevel.be/spotting/brussels_airport_spotting_guide.php If you ...
