Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
I think that they must work on their poor punctuality before addressing other issues.

Re: Air Belgium in 2019
Problem with institutions and diplomats, they re all flying low cost or eco these days, even on long haul.. BRU does not generate premium pax like Zurich, Geneva, or FRA and Munich .. The disadvantage oif our income equality... Cheers, Stij Living standard at the above mentioned cities is considera...

Re: Air Belgium in 2019
With SN gone in the coming year(s), they should present themselves as the new flag carrier, full-service quality airline to Brussels, home of numerous international institutions and the second biggest diplomat city in the world. There must be a market for this Clearly there is no market for it, SN ...

Re: BRU Summer 2019: news, new routes, airlines
Within a few years JetBlue might start flying to Brussels (Article in Dutch). https://www.tijd.be/ondernemen/luchtvaart/jetblue-wikt-trans-atlantische-vlucht-naar-zaventem/10116311.html Spare me. I already shiver at the idea of doing an 8 hour transatlantic flight in a single aisle aircraft I flew ...

Re: National strike in Belgium on 13 February 2019
Interestingly, KLM maintains all its flights: what an opportunity! Most SN destinations can be reached from AMS. Whereas LH, LX and OS cancelled all their flights together with SN when FRA, MUC VIE, ZRH could be nice alternatives. Lack of vision of the LH Group! Already last week the full LH Group ...

Re: Lufthansa Is Trying To Sue Passengers For Skiplagging
The real shame is that skiplagging cant be used for round trip. A no show on one flight shouldnt cancel the return flight. If its paid its paid. If you decide to do one leg on a donkey's back its your choice. It is actually on the return.. for an example.. on SN one way GVA - BRU - LHR can be much ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019
Well, it is definitely not going in the right direction.. More towards a full lcc. Catering for C class downgraded on European flights, bottled water removed from the lounges.. and last night I witnessed check in agents hartasing people including c class and priority with their hand luggage. They ac...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
It is a premium lounge! People using that lounge pay good money to fly SN and partners. And to imply that people steal bottled water? Rubbish! It is only to save money. BTW more ecological to take the train.. you would be surprised how much bottles and other canned drinks disappear in their bags .....

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
It is much cheaper than bottled water. I meant cheap like style I find a design glass bottle with fruits and petals floating in it much more stylish and personal than a plastic bottle. But OK, we're not going to agree on this I feel And I don't really think people will change lounges because of the...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Concerning plastic crap, they can easily replace with glass Bottled water if they are concerned about the en it Money. But they did not think of plastic, trust me.. they think that they found a brilliant way to cut costs. But they are stupid as this will backfire and they will eventually return the ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
That is very cheap, I find. Many people do not drink tap water at home or at a restaurant..why should they at a premium lounge? Actually this is very standard in Estonia You *always* get water with berries, fruits, even flowers-petals I don't find this cheap at all (and way better than all the plas...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Seems SN is saving on potable water at its flagship lounge in brussels! Bottled water no where to be found, replaced by flavoured tap water in large glass jars! First the small bottled waters were replaced by large ones, clearly to cut costs. Now bottled water is gone alltogether! That is very cheap...

Re: 2018 Antwerp Airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news
The paid parking certainly has kept me away! Then again, I am not an airline passenger anyway so perhaps I am not a factor of loss... The reduction of service at BelAir is bad too, but quite understandable. They are not a charity, after all. I'm not too familiar with the surroundings, but isn't the...
