I would rather take too much tan too little fuel...
certainly for long haul flights.
But we all know the Dutch, they think otherwise
Lucky those winds were not a bit stronger, otherwise they might have been swimming around somewhere in the Altlantic about now.

Not quite sure about the trains being the next most efficient means of transportation after the bicycle. How many trains do really travel fully loaded, or at least with a load factor of 50%?Not many, except for rush hours between Antwerp and Brussels. A guy working at the NMBS told me once that stop...

Airplanes VS nature

I just read on DE ANTWERPENAAR that airplanes are told to be the less ecological mean of transport, after the car.
I though thought that even the A380 was told to be more economical than a car?

Sabena is dead. Brussels Airlines is born and has a different strategy, a more low-cost like structure. And that s the best for now and the future, because the future is in the low-cost. And they (the managers) know that. About this discussion: What about taking it straight between the 2 and making ...

On the other hand, you can not approve the 40mins turnaround for only Ex-SN staff, while Ex-VEX staff will continue serving the 30 mins. That would be unjustified and discriminating... I agree on recent disorder being serious issues, but some people start saying that unions lead to Sabena's bankruptcy. Well I might be wrong but I thought it was Swissair that gave Sabena a ride to hell. Okay unions have contributed to this happening, but that wasn t the main cause!! Unions are impo...

So we gonna need a 3rd pedal to switch gears or is it gonna be an automated system?
Who says gears says problems.
The less factors, the better!!
Very interesting though from an ecological point of view!!

Although it s one of the emptiest international airports in Europe, you should agree that it s also one of the most expensive as well as the slowest (in regard to turn-around times). For these reasons, not that many carriers are interested. Perhaps on a long run it might interest some long-haul carr...
