You wanted to go to MUC. The sales was eg in EBB, then you paid the OW-fare MUC-EBB in DMK in the pre-Euro era. With a bit of trouble I could find out MUC stands for München, Bayern, and EBB for Entebbe/Kampala, Uganda. But where the heck is DMK? And if the sale happens in Uganda, why did one have ...

oke now i also have a question , you can buy these splitter things so you can put 2 cables on the splitter and that one goes into your videocard . Do you have the same result than , or 2 identical screens ? You had better check the doc. of the splitter. But IMHO it is much to expect that such a box...

Strangely enough, one has not yet seen Fat Flahaut parading Hm, you really think that strange? Could it be you're Wallonian? (or is it "Walloon"?) But I think I take your meaning, even if I was born Flemish. And indeed, let us be grateful to the governments that take up their inherent res...

OK I managed to find the original article. The subject is very very delicate! I can not very well believe the complaints of French-speakers as though they did not understand the Dutch announcements: for sure any more or less frequent traveller knows all the messages by heart in both languages?! Much...

Re: Is the Airport train really Flemish?

I started this topic to share my thoughts about some points raised in the news article ( https://www.aviation24.be/article12068.html )about the airport train being Flemish. That link does not work for me, it seems to point to the "old" luchtzak site. That besides, what's your poin...

It is rather a small plane weighing no more than 510 kgs or so. The exact figures were given here some while ago by realplaneshaveprops , seemingly one more guy who had his fill of "kleine luchtzakje"

Hm. An airfield coded ULM? My favourite airfield decoder at www.landings.com reports this as "New Ulm Municipal Airport, Minnesota, USA" . You sure about that code? What airfield/ulmodrome you actually went to? And then again "19-3806" as a registration? I'll allow 19-YZ might be...

That is certainly feasible, and even more! My own setup has two screens connected to the same video card (an Nvidia 6600, if memory serves) and not only can I run FS one screen and have the other available for other things; much better is I can take some 'subscreen' from the one display to the other...

Skydrol is the hydraulic fluid is used in aircrafts, it breaks down plastics, paint, ... irritate skin and eyes when you contact it. Link Thank you! Guess it is much like the stuff we use to top up the brake* circuit in our car? Only up to stricter certification, of course, and at the tenfold price...

First I think, regarding this info, VLM's FK50's were too big for this route Agreed. Thats a 60% difference in capacity. That can really make a difference. Als othe opp. costs, like Jan said, can also make a difference. Maybe not that much alone, but probably it will if your aircraft is too large. ...

I absolutely agree, Fons. Still it seems strange that Eastern is apparently well pleased with BRU, is the Southampton route a success for them? Then why wasn't it for VLM? Surely the Jetstream is cheaper to operate than an F50, but the difference can't be that significant, can it?
