Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
I read that Air Belgium is flying Belgians home from Argentina. Absolutely great, but why isn't Brussels Airlines doing this? Hi, it's a wild guess, but maybe because they BRU-based A330's don't have a cargo crew rest? OO-SFP has been transferred to BRU yesterday, maybe for this purpose? Flying car...

Re: Air Antwerp in 2020
I wouldn't feed anything... Most far-away destinations are reachable from CDG, AMS, LHR, FRA, MUC or more of them. If CDG isn't easy to reach from the greater Antwerp region, you can still reach that destination for instance from FRA and take feeder flight from BRU. I don't think there's a big oppor...

Forgive me, I fail to understand the free newspaper discussion. Most airlines offer you to download a newspaper (when you check in, I think°. I always forget. As too paper newspaper, honestly, today there is not enough space in Y class to comfortably read a paper newspaper. And again, if somebody w...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
For SN it is not the case to receive good slots in late afternoon or evening for long haul at BRU, bcs they will, but I don't know for sure for NY or IAD as we don't have that info. Why doesn't SN receive good slots in late afternoon or evening? Or did I misunderstand? It can be of course that SN w...

Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines
According with flightlevel, United's flight BRU-ORD will be operate by a 787-10 from april 2020. Opening BRU-SFO by United is next step ? Brussels will be a UA "european mini-hub" for 787 ? For UA, BRU is a real hub, not a mini-hub as something like this is not existing. By next year an o...

SN will never be able to compete with Aeroflot with both the same service level and the same price for the simple reason labour is much cheaper in Russia than in Western-Europe, let alone Belgium. And on top of that the very strict no-state-aid-policy of the European Union. They can for connecting ...

I wonder why BRU airport thinks there's any need for yet another operator to say Malaga or Alicante? Next to Ryanair, Vueling, Jetair and Brussels Airlines? Looks like it, indeed! The A220 seems to be really good compared to the E2. Although one airline in Belgium thinks the E2 is a better product, but I fail to see why honestly... any specialist in the E2/A220 battle around here? :) Sorry lumumba, my question was more about performance, specifications...
