On the other hand better be a UK or Belgian registered airline in case the Brexit mess is not sorted out by March next year.

Re: 2019 Antwerp Airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news
Or if economically feasible more runs on the route per day utilising their Beech1900D? More flexibility as more flights per day.. if landing fees and other costs permit..

Maybe Chalair? I flew them numerous times to GVA
From ANR .. excellent flights But were almost always empty. I guess that they lost a lot of money operating out of ANR. Maybe LCY Will bring them back?

Re: 25-26-27-28-29/10/2018 Aviapartner strike at Brussels Airport
But it change nothing I mean the situation is rotten for a while. Agree, but who's fault is that? Shareholders? Top management? Middle management? Ground force? We don't know, so "shared responsability" seems fair then. I have the impression that i have to right thing 10 times before some...

Re: 25-26-27-28-29/10/2018 Aviapartner strike at Brussels Airport
Is it an open ended strike until the company collapses? In the meantime BRU is half functioning. By the time another handler takes over etc that can take months. That's frightening that's a point but that's the responsibility of Brussels Airport to accept to work with a company with a huge depth. I...

Re: 25-26-27/10/2018 Aviapartner strike at Brussels Airport
As a pilot i land quite often in BRU and my company is using aviapartner as well. We see so many times, when on blocks even, we really have to wait for them to show up to take care of everything, causing delays ofcourse. There is simply a lack of staff (like swissport as well) and they really have ...

Re: Can Belgian airlines be successful ?
I believe that the local market is low yielding. Can not compare to the German or swiss markets when it comes to business travel. Another problem is the size of the country. CDG, DUS, AMS, even LHR etc are all very close giving the local market lots of Options. Even attracting connecting pax a local...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
The airport has the same problems as traffic in general: it's a risk planning to get there by car because you might be stuck in traffic, it's a risk getting there by train because there might be cancellations, strikes or other delays. The reason why one would still prefer the car is because it give...

I think that the whole project from CRL was foomed from the beginning. They were really unlucky with cathay
Beating them with launching HKG from BRU. I do not believe that the market is large enough for both airliners..

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
I think it honestly makes no sense to try to compete on the Asian market with just 1 route and not even every day... thats a waste.... certainly makes more sense to expand Africa and hopefully at some point North America... Personally I would have tried to make a deal with Air India that would allo...
