There are always two Air Force One's. One airplane is a back up but this airplane is not always one the same airport as the first one. Mostly an other airport in the neighborhood or country.

I think that they have chosen Ostend above Brussels because they will do nightflights. Jumbo's are not allowed at night in Bru.
They are going to transport fresh flowers, vegetables, fish, etc. So this products have to be here in the morning to sold out at that day.

I think it would be Airbus. Qatar has only Airbus in their fleet.
They announced that they will make a very huge order. That would be great for Airbus.

Onur Air has to make sure that they lease safe airplanes from other companies. It's possible that there is a big tourism agancy after Onur Air, but that's all useless if they fly with unsafe airplanes from a third party. We can all read the those Tristars are flown in Africa, that continent, with al...

Phuket Air is also banned in Great Britain due to all the problems recently.
It means that all the flights to Europe: Amsterdam and Londen are cancelled. It think this is a wise decision, safety first.

Macquarie Airports: what about Australian carriers?

MAp, Macquarie Airports, is going to invest a lot of money in EBBR, this for many occasions. But, they are going to create a workgroup with one task: making Brussels interesting for foreign airlines and create more destinations from Brussels. But I never read something about Australian carriers. MAp...

Could be. Especially Switzerland, they are also follow the rules very strictly, what is very good. I don't know about Bru. Here has to be an accident first for that they banned an airline. It would be nice to see Emirates at EBBR. But both feet on the ground. On their side are some new destinations indicated. For Brussels, I think it could be within a few years.

For the moment they have one destination in the US, New York, it could be good competition between Jet Airways and Emirates.

Correct, I also think that's not a good idea. For the moment SNBA did a good job to transport cargo with the A330-300. Pax and cargo: good combination and less costs. I think also that in the future it will be very busy with cargo between Bru and Africa. Ethiopian served Addis Abeba, Caïro, Naïrobi....
