My first flight was Brussels - Thessaloniki on a EBA B737-400, I believe in 1995. It was quite a long flight, more then 5 hours (including a 40 minutes stop at Athens) and we had to fly over Hungaria, Romania & Bulgaria because of the war in Yugoslavia at the moment.

The airport itself and the flights are not affected but the M1 motorways is closed between exit 6 & 12 so there should be some problems to get to the airport I guess.

Very sad news.

Aircraft involved is OO-ACS Reims-Cessna F.152-II, owned by Aeroclub Sanicole. The pilot was 72 years old and passenger was 60, both from Peer. Contact was lost shortly after take off. The aircraft was found around noon today.

Nice pics Bottie.

Don't know what was happening with 3D-AJG. After push back they towed it lie you said over the taxiway to the other side of the apron and made a few turns there as far as I could see. When I left it was parked back at where it was first. Anyway he left this morning.
