Re: Impact of the coronavirus crisis on aviation

President Trump canceled travel from 26 European countries to the US for the next 30 days, beginning Friday at midnight. He tweeted the ban would apply to "people not goods" after stock futures tumbled on the prospect of a trade freeze. My comment : good luck finding enough full freighters to do th...

I think he simply means that if your position wasn't already the strongest, the Corona story definitely will not help neither Exactly, just as with humans, the virus can be lethal for the weak ones whilst the strong ones just go through a difficult moment but recover quickly. Norwegian closed its pilot base in BKK, firing all pilots there. They are also laying off cabin crew across Europe and cancelling most recruitment.

"As the only airline in Dusseldorf ..." That is a terrible news for the airport. When did all the other airlines leave DUS? H.A. You will probably call me aggressive, but you misread AGAIN! As the only airline in Düsseldorf offering nonstop flight to Sevilla. ... You have a real problem mate, makin...

Two disappointing reports on long-haul trips onboard Brussels Airlines A330s, one in Economy and the other in Premium Economy. It seems that Economy really means savings on everything: quality of service, IFE, amenities and quality of food and drinks. Reboot? SN should take better care of the trave...

1 cabin crew member for a whole economy class because the other crew is on break?? on a 6 hour flight? Who came up with these service standards?? Without trump, the jet most probably wouldn’t have been shot down in the first place. He owns those families an apology at the very least. Without Trump, other families would be in mourne now. Probably from Iraqi and relatives from Nato allies. If you believe breibart maybe yes. So what are you say...

(Old news) Trump clearly mentioned that someone from a dangerous neighbourhood (compared to the bronx i suppose) probably made a mistake. Meaning the rocket, if confirmed, is not from "Iran" but from a fool. Like everything trump says, we can assume this is only said to allow the stock market to go...

Re: Looking back to 2019: one year of flights

Very nice summary, it seems 2019 was a very good aviation year for you André! Worst flight : MRS-CRL on a Ryanair B738. More than 3 hr delay on departure, when the pilot pushed the engines to the maximum and arrived 2 hr 45 min late at destination, saving the airline 180 x 250 = 45,000 euros in EU2...

Have you flown in the 737-200 or classic?
