Re: United check-in at BRU
On my UA flight last year there were also long waiting times. But, as I had already checked in online and filled in all my visa requirements etc., I was given priority and I could skip a large part of the waiting line.

Re: Flight to LAX
If it is the cheapest option: yes! Otherwise I wouldn't go for them. Flew them twice last year and on both occasions they really got my personal award of worst US airline I've ever flown with. sorry to hear that. what happend? Well, there are a few things that make me to say this. To give you an id...

Re: New Sabena book : Souvenirs sans gloire (French)
Having received the book a few days ago and having read almost half of it already, I must say I enjoy reading this book. French is not my first language, but even then it reads very fluently and the text is nicely written. Chapters are interesting (as described here above) and cover a lot of differe...

Re: Aviapartner lost handling license at BRU to Swissport
That's a pitty. In terms of service towards airlines and costumers, Flightcare should have had their license revoked and given to another handler. I have no experience with Aviapartner, so I cannot say anything about the company.

Re: MAD - 03/04/2011
Seems you have had some bad luck with the weather. Were you unable to reach the spots I told you about a few weeks ago? These were at 33L in the area of the roundabouts etc. I would like to know that if I would ever plan any spotting trip again to MAD.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Do you maybe have a photo of the OO-JAT that landed there last Saturday 09/04/11 in the morning?

Re: Fifth Freedom Flights in Europe
I've read somewhere about the possibility to book BRU-MXP and MXP-BRU flights in the future with ET 757. Don't know if it's true and when this will be possible.

Thanks.

Looks like the photo is fake: http://www.flightlevel.be/5338/brussels ... n-tyrolean
It says that according to SN the plane will not fly in these c/s, but only in a hybrid c/s with SN titles.
That explains why the tails looks so strange to me.

Re: Spotting in MAD: any hint?
Well, I never encountered any problems with officials, nor did I ever heard of any problems about it at MAD. So I wouldn't worry about officials. I don't think that using your scanner in Spain is allowed, but who cares anyway ;) I forget to mention that the main runway in use for landing is 33L. Run...

Re: Spotting in MAD: any hint?
Hi, I've been several times to MAD and I know my way there quite well. It is really worth the effort to go spotting as the kind of traffic you see over there is amazing. MAD is really a very nice airport for spotting! Spotting on the approach points is only possible when 33's are in use (which is fo...

Re: Korongo Airlines
Yes,these flights were a great initiative. I was on SN1005 and the planes were really full. But, as far as I'm correct, they were able to offer it for such low prices as personnel wasn't paid that day. The reason why it never was organised again during 'Openbedrijvendag'.

Re: Korongo Airlines
A very nice idea (I already sent you a PM). I did already a 'doopvlucht' on the 2nd of October in 2005 with the Avro of SN because I really like the type, my favourite aircraft after the A345/6. On that day they did several flights (8 or 10 if I'm not wrong) for around €50. Routing was takeoff from ...

I'm also wondering this as Hainan Airlines often diverts with fog while most of all the other traffic doesn't have any problems.
