They first have to put some rice on CRL's runway. Afterwards, the planes will arrive.

so it's close to the LGG story in the end
You're 100% right. They feed their planes thanks to a strong cooperation with a chinese tour operator.
In the first instance will mostly be a charter airline.

I find it very caricatural but this is how the following companie's identity are percieved: BRU Airport= flemish Brussels Airlines= flemish CRL Airport = walloon Liège Airport = walloon Air Belgium = walloon Well, I'm living in the north, and a company with a French speaking CEO (Bernard Gustin) an...

Re: Re:

We all hope so. However, let's never underestimate the politics in Belgium. Never... Air Belgium is flagged as a "Walloon project" which doesn't makes things easier when the country is mostly ruled by the "Flemish" at the Federal level. I don't want to start a debate about Wallo...

Re:

About the company: I really hope they'll become a succes. Certainly if SN will evaporate into EW, maybe Air Belgium can become the new flag carrier (and also fly from BRU), with help from the Belgian business world. They all revolted after the news SN would disappear, well now, let's show some acti...

Usually well informed source, which, obviously, wants to remain anonymous
Not that hard to find out who they are...

That's why I wish every success to Air Belgium. Some people might get really pissed if the airline soars on the market.

It might be the other way around: premium passengers (and their luggage) bussed to the North terminal? I will ask Jean-Jacques Cloquet next time I see him (I invited him for a conference to his former colleagues of Solvay in March). Forget what I wrote. Actually there is a road that allows vehicule...

Premium passengers will use the refurbished South Terminal, but Economy passengers will use the regular one. They can bus those passengers over to the south terminal Unfeasable. Passengers have to...

Have they told Ryanair/Wizzair/Jetair that each time a A340 (or any aircraft of the same category) operates in CRL: - it blocks several parking stands - it blocks all the traffic on the apron (impossible to overtake it like two B737 or A320 can do) - once it uses the taxiway south, no other movemen...

The majority of the BRU staff speaking French doesn't make it a French speaking airport... BRU is a case very special a...
