Benelux VFR traffic

Latest days you can observe 2 phenomenons in our airspace on FR24: very intensive daily aerial survey, new misson for google ? And very much helicopter VFR flights, peculiar with Robinson helicopters, looks as Robinson owners have been invited to perform medical flights ?

Re: Impact of the coronavirus crisis on aviation

I agree about cargo, but what percentage actually on FR24 is freight ?? we cannot sit together with non relatives in our car, but inside planes we can sit with 150 ?? Arrivals at Brussels still without any screening, even hundreds of passengers out of highly infected zones as spain can come in and s...

Re: Impact of the coronavirus crisis on aviation

Citizens of european countries are advised to stay inside, not to make big displacements, land borders are closed out of fear for Covid19 spreading, but if you look today (and next week?) at FR24, hundreds of planes still carry thousands of people between european countries, even in and out top 5 in...

Re: Boeing 737 (MAX) news

When it goes tits up the MAX requires flying skills which today’s pilots (JAF probably being a rare exception) don’t have anymore! I agree for 100 percent with this statement of Poiu, today newbies come on a right seat with passengers and it is their first real flight in a 737 (or 320) is this norm...

Oosfu is still on ground because there is a shortage on the market of PW engines....

Re: Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX crashes between Addis Ababa and Nairobi - Impact on Boeing 737 MAX

An acft that needs software to compensate the deteroriation of aerodynamics should never fly again ! The old 737 wing design is not appropriate for the new and bigger eco engines, there is a point when retrofitting has to end, it has been going on for half a century for now...

All these assumptions of what the pilots could have done to prevent this crash... as i mentionned already weeks ago; guys, they only got a couple of seconds at this agl ! and confirmed now in the news: simulation gave pilots 40 secs

Re: Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX crashes between Addis Ababa and Nairobi - Impact on Boeing 737 MAX

" Riad Bahri: According to some, it will become one of the biggest scandals in modern aviation.
Indeed i hope so, flirting with safety under economical pressure: its a no go thing. Airbus has a big expierence in electronic guided flight systems, Boeing has not, and they gave a proof of that !

Re: Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX crashes between Addis Ababa and Nairobi - impact on Boeing 737 MAX

hundreds of predictions, so here s an other one: Within a few weeks the MAX up and flying again, as for cause: very bad coincidences, a set of circumstances and no direct proof of technical malfunctions, anyway Boeing took some serious precautionary measures and reviewed the complete MCAS system, ca...
