Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017

I'd say thank God for TUIfly Belgium who seems to be the only Belgian airline that is here to stay and doing well not to mention serving every airport in the country! I agree that TUI Fly Belgium is doing great, but you cannot call them a Belgian airline either... They are part of the TUI group, wh...

Lufthansa,silk air and Air China
Three operators indeed. But Silk Air does not have 747-8I, only 747-8Fs.
It's Korean Air that also flies the 747-8I. They have ordered 10 with 7 delivered so far.

Well, that decision might have been taken in close cooperation as Etihad holds a 24% stake in Jet Airways.

This leaves Asiana as the only airline that still has A350-800s on order (8 aircraft, with also 12 A350-900s and 10 A350-1000 on order).
I wonder when they will convert/cancel their order.

In 2018 the current A330s will start getting replaced, I don't know if makes a lot of sense to add another A330 when new ones will arrive shortly after, maybe it is better just to wait one year? Before we speculate, maybe we should just wait for the announcement about the take over? I hope that wil...

There are a little bit more active A340-300s: around 120 according to the source you mention. Lufthansa alone has still 18 active A340-300s.

While the A321LR could indeed be a very interesting option from a passenger point of view, is there not an issue with cargo?
