Re: Abnormalities at BRU / ANR / LGG / CRL / OST

Some passengers told me that other passengers told them in Egypt that a flight from BRU to Sharm el Sjeik had to divert to Cairo yesterday (Sunday), to offload a sick passenger.

Anyone with more info?

Just do your math... I can't. I don't have access to the software that airlines use to calculate OPS, lease costs, maintenance, etc. It's time that you stop taking your cheap shots at me, you're making yourself ridiculous and turning every thread on the forums into your personal frustration relief ...

Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines

The press release is still yet not published officially by Brussels Airport. So please wait with those accusations. Maybe we can ask member Avion1 where he get that press release.[/b] Could be this one: http://www.airtransportnews.aero/article.pl?mcateg=&id=20569 Indeed, the press release doesn't m...

Re: BRU summer 2010: latest news, routes, airlines

Indeed, the press release doesn't mention anything about a codesharing with Brussels Airlines.

But it is not a press release from Hainan Airlines: it is a press release from Brussels Airport.

It's up to Hainan Airlines - and eventually Brussels Airlines - to advise more details about this.

OO-JAP which was supposed to fly BRU-PUC today, is now assigned to BRU-LTN (departure 16u00 local). Some technical problems? And as said in this topic , JAF 523 is now to be operated by CS-TFT. There was another long haul flight for Jetair / Jetairfly today: JAF501 to Liberia/Cancun. ETD for that o...

NCB,

Why don't you accept the ranges that reliable airlines mention for a 319?

Re: African operations possible with narrow body equipment

Can a A319-100 fly from Brussels to any destination in Central Africa, East Africa or West Africa? Yes, because Airbus says it has a range of 6.800 km: http://www.airbus.com/index.php?id=1525 For the non-aviation professionals: this range is only valid for ideal flights conditions. Compare it to the...

I was right after all about oil tycoons supporting Senegal Airlines... No you were wrong. You've told us they were going to order 20 x A320's. The article says that the agreement "...will cover commercial support, technical expertise, training and aviation-related goods and services..." So Emerates...

LX-LGX, About the noise problem, it's clear and very clear that you cannot compare noise regulation when you have a whole city of 1 million people suffering from the noise and in LGG only 250 houses, sound proofed, that decided to stay there instead of selling their house. LGG is just better locate...

The aircraft had it first official mission today: a VIP-trip with the Belgian press.

(VIP was Pieter De Crem, Belgian's minister for Defence).

Trust we'll see CS-TMT in full glance in our television news tonight.

9W230 DEL-BRU making a stop in SVO? Medical emergency or technical emergency? Medical emergency, indeed. The delay (over 4 hours) was more caused by problems after the landing in Moscow: administrative problems, de-icing and getting a new slot. Source: Aviation Herald: http://avherald.com/h?article...

Acid-drop, Unfortunately, you are selling LGG again as it is the best European cargo airport, which it isn't ! The poor student will believe you without questionning the reality. I agree with Filou.
