Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

G-RJXB, G-RJXI and G-RJXM mainly for Bristol, Nantes, Turin and Nuernberg?
G-ECOI and G-ECOK, the Dash Q400's mainly for Hannover?
Any educated guesses where they'll use the SSJ100? Which destination is too small for an A319? :)

Re: VLM Airlines news 2017

All seven F50 aircraft are in the Belgian Federal Government Civil Aircraft Register under OO-VL* and assigned to SHS Antwerp Aviation with address in Antwerp Airport That's the current situation. But if VLM moves to Slovenia (or gets registered in Slovenia), do they need to move the aircraft as we...

Re: VLM Airlines news 2016

Isn't this the 2017-topic? :) As from the 2016-topic at http://luchtzak.be/forums/viewtopic.php?p=343794#p343794: Some small but potentially important news: a total of 7 Fokker 50's now show SHS Antwerp Aviation as the 'holder' in the Belgian register. Wizzair: cancelling, rebooking or no-show?

So... I'm travelling to Budapest in April. I bought tickets EIN-BUD-EIN, flying with Wizzair, but a problem arises, maybe some of you have advice or experience. I bought tickets for Monday to Friday. But now I can join a group of friends which is going Saturday-Thursday, flying Wizz from EIN as well...

Some small but potentially important news: a total of 7 Fokker 50's now show SHS Antwerp Aviation as the 'holder' in the Belgian register. Up until recently, all of these planes were still registered to VLM Airlines but have now been linked to the new company. I'm not sure about the exact rules, bu...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation

Solution 2 creates a lott of extra pollution due to the long taxiway ! Just curious: is it? Offcourse it's more polluting compared to standing still, and an aircraft is made for flying, not for rolling. But compared to the thousands of miles flown, is it so bad to roll a few miles? Would an aircraf...

Re: 2016 Antwerp airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news

The area around Antwerp Airport had a total power failure on Monday evening as from 22h31, lasting for some 1,5 hours. The ANR aerodrome was closed then and all expected flights had landed, so probably no problems there. Streets affected - source Eandis.be (copy/pasted, hence caps): 2100: EKSTERLAA...

Re: ANR 06/11/2016 Change of ATR + Mexican jet

Meaning more capacity on the ANR-LCY-route, about 20 extra pax? Or are the sales limited to what could be seated on an ATR-42 (or Fokker 50)?

Was Vizion using the Fokkers of VLM, or were they using the Fokkers VLM leased after the sale-and-lease-back? If the second is the case, leasing them from the real owner shouldn't be too hard...

Re: Emirates 777-300 crash-landing at DXB

Its one of my personal frustrations in traveling on planes these days: the huge amounts of luggage carried onboard. You didn't see that 10 or 15 years ago, and quite honestly I am not sure it's an improvement to allow people to do that nowadays, not just for safety reasons like we see here, but als...

Re: 2016 Antwerp airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news

Limiting operational hours to 0800-2000 might be too limiting. One of the reasons the ANR-HAM flight was interesting was that by leaving at 0700 and arriving at 0835 it was early enough to attend a morning-meeting in or near Hamburg. (The return flight 2010-2140 was rather late for business travelle...
