Re: Korongo Airlines

I meet during last week a minister of the Kasaï and she confirm me that the flights between Kisangani and Lubumbashi and/or Kinshasa will be operated by Korongo very soon.
This minister and his colleague of Katanga confirm also the success of Korongo!
Nice to hear that from congolese authorities!

Re: BrusselsAirlines - the TURBOPROPS will come!

In my point of view, the ideal fleet should be a mix of:
- 6 Q 400
- 6 Embraer 175
- 12 Embraer 190
- 12 A319
- 6 A320
- 2 A321 (Moscow, Tel-Aviv,...)
- 9 A333 in 2013 and 12 after 2014 (Africa, US (east and west), South America (Brasil of course) and Asia (China, Japan)

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-OST-CRL-LGG in 2012

I read this evening in the briefs of the journal "le jour" from Douala that a Brussels Airlines flight was cancelled last thirsday evening due to a major problem in the airport with the central fuel supply due to an important leak. That can perhaps explain a part of the modifications in the planning?

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-OST-CRL-LGG in 2012

This sunday, it seem's that there are some flights cancelled in the african program of SN. The flight SN501 to NY desappeared from the table of departures.
Again problems with OO-SFM or SFW?
Who can give informations concerning these modifications?

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet

Correct! These birds are already confirmed and 16 A 32.. (12+4) will be active for summer season. Extra (3+2) are coming later depending of the phasing out of the 737 (end of 2012 or soon in 2013...) The sources are Plannespotter, Wikipedia, Airfleet.com and previous Brussels Airlines press releases...

Confirmed in the next few months: 2 A 319 (total 12) and 2 A 320 (total 4).
Depending of the phasing out of the 2 737-300 and 4 737-400, 3 A 319 and 2 extra A 320 must join the fleet.

Re: OO-SFY A332

Correct!
OO-SFY is already operational as back-up of A333 during their C-check.
At this moment OO-SFW is in Malta.
HB-IQC was also re-registered OO-SFZ since friday but not yet in service.
