Fly Armenia is ready to commence operations as early as December 2020, with B737 aircraft out of Yerevan to multiple destinations. ZIPAIR Tokyo commenced passenger operations on 16 October 2020, operating Tokyo Narita – Seoul Incheon route with B787-8 (and only two passengers on the first flight!).

Air Vanuatu will have its procurement of four A220s examined by the new government, who wants to understand the reasoning for the deal. The government plans to now only buy two A220s, with the delivery dates are delayed.

FAA Administrator Steve Dickson tells IASS 2020 that he expects the 737 MAX recertification process "to be completed in the not-too-distant future. We are making excellent progress. We continue to narrow the issues & work milestone by milestone." There is no 'set schedule.'
