Aviation: the European Commission addresses a reasoned opinion to Belgium The European Commission has today (27/10/2011) adopted a reasoned opinion against Belgium which has not yet notified the unit rates of its airports' terminal charges for 2010 and 2011. Pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1794/2006...

If you would inform yourself before posting a reaction, you wouldn't have to post stupid questions. I've seen three photo's from the aircraft. A wing almost ripped off and pointing towards the ground is substantial damage for me. Thus accident.

Says who? It's so obvious that this was an accident that it's useless to discuss this. Says you. "Substantial damage" is an accident, says the FAA: Aircraft accident means an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the a...

Re: Incident with an Emb 120 Brasilia in Gabon

That isn't an incident, that is an accident Says who? Based upon the initial press release from Embraer released just after it happened, it was seen as an incident. But as soon as the real damage was established, it has been "upgraded" from incident to accident. Says who? It's so obvious ...

Isn't this airline blacklisted in Europe? Indeed : NRT Gabon is banned in the European Union : just like almost all other carriers from Gabon. Only 3 Gabon carriers are allowed here, with additional restriction to a/c type: Gabon Airlines is only allowed to fly to EU with TR-LHP 762; Afrijet with t...

The weather is very fine in Antwerp (sunny, no wind), but there are some 15 flights delayed at nearby BRU.

Is it weather related - busy airport - or just coincidence?
