Re: Belgian FIR quasi-closed during night 01-02/03

Those who know me, and by now that number is getting rather high, know that I’m not the kind of person to lie or exaggerate. All I will say on the topic is this: I expected some of you to do your due di...

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2019

There’s a maximum of 189 seats on a 737-800. That doesn’t mean the maximum passenger capacity is 189, though. You can still put an infant on the lap of an adult. In fact, dependant on configuration, the maximum number of passengers, including infants, on board could theoretically be somewhere close ...

Just look at what’s below the final approach for a straight in on 07L and you have your answer.

Could be due to marginal weather at EBOS.
At a certain point BKN001 was on the ATIS.

Re: The one and only topic on which runway in use @EBBR

A rather large mobile crane is erected in the vicinity of stands 140-144, and might interfere with various signals needed for landing on 25R.
Hence, 25R is closed for landings. Ad hoc visual approaches might be a possibility.

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019

Some problems with de-/anti-icing systems apparently.
The flight in question was later on flown with a B738 from BRU instead.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

I have a feeling the A330s are also needed dearly to operate the normal long haul schedule, and they don’t really have a spare to operate a charter flight.

I heard the same thing some time ago.
However, I wouldn't consider it improbable or even impossible for them to perform that analysis on site in Bangor.
