Re: Cargo B financial woes ?

Ofcourse we now that LGG is cheaper but the move from BRU to LGG costs 12 million, that is absolutly to much for a company in bad chape. That is the only reason why this move was a very bad idea of Cargo B.

Re: Cargo B financial woes ?

I am prity sure it is linked, wich company with a good management would move the whole company to another airport (ok it is cheaper than BRU) in a time of crisis when the whole move costs 12 million?! And this while Flanders invest can do nothing when they go outside the Flanders, by by investement ...

Re: Cargo B financial woes ?

But 12 million is really too much for Cargo B, their capital was only 27 million. And this all while they where loss making. This move to LGG was just suicide.

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

About long haul, SN will never use Boeing in the first 5 years I think. This change would be to big again and LH use Airbus itself for long haul (exept of the 744). The A300's are a very temporary solution, this planes should be replaced again over a few years.

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

And LH wants that they use Airbus for long haul. But I think that LH gone drop some of their B737's with SN for short haul. Because the A319(4) are with less than the B737's(11).

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

The last A300 wil leave the LH fleet next mond i think, but I don't now what their plans are with these plains. The A300 in SN's fleet is better than nothing and is more possible than an A330/A340 this year, next year is an other thing. But most of this A300 are really old, is it a good idea to give...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

If SN really join Star Alliance this year, I think this codeshare's will stop at the end of the year. AA will fly the 763 again on the Chicago route at the end of the year, I think that is a sign that the codeshare' s with SN gone stop.
