Re: More 787 woes?
When will the luck for the 787 come back, Boeing doesn't really make a good experience lately with it's 787.
Could it be possible that the A350 might be finished earlier? or the 747-800?

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa
But there's an alternative : SN might codeshare with the *A members serving those big destinations. They shouldn't rely exclusively on LH for feeding their BRU hub. Correct and for that SN must make their BRU hub as attractive as possible, meaning building further on what they are good: AFI. The mo...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa
As someone has already mentioned, bru air could follow the example of air canada, and configure some A319 for medium to long range, they have the legs to make it to practically any place in sahara africa, equip them with PTV's and some decent legroom and you might have a good shot at markets in nort...

Well, the afterexamholiday has been booked, we booked on Sunjets and are going to Tunesia (Port El Kantoui) in september after the exams. Can anyone tell me what kind of airplane they are using on this route? I know it's probably going to be a 737 but will it be a NG? Could somebody who works at jet...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa
I understand and aknowledge that they need to expand in Africa, the black continent has been on the rise for several years now, and businesses are really starting to kick off. But i also think that at LH they know that a "flag" carrier who only flies to Africa is quite dissapointing, so I ...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa
To say that the the 737 is a better working horse than the avro is comparing apples to pears, they have a different purpose, the avro is used on bussiness destinations & small airports (LCY, Rotterdam, Antwerp, ...) the 737 has been the perfect leisure aircraft since the start. I hope that they ...

Martinair (MP) sells it's remaining 767's
Sad news today! It seems that Martinair returned 2 boeing 767 to their leasing company and is selling their 3 other pax. 767. Which means that they have no more "aging" passenger fleet... Flew them to Aruba in the winter in comfort class, and they were "pretty" good for a charter...

Permanent United 777
I have no idea if this is old news, just to say, United Airlines has announced their fall scheme and are planning to use 2 777's flying to Brussels, one from IAD-BRU(UA938) & ORD-LHR-BRU starting October 25th. are they doing this because of bru. air. joining star? Good news for the spotters i gu...

Transatlantic on 757-200 AA (Bus. class)
Hi everybody! First of all i'm new to this forum, but have been a flying enthousiast for quite some years and I have flown on some major carriers (Emirates, Malaysian, Gulf, Qatar, ...). Now my question! In the autumn holidays me and my family are going to the US (NY + Miami) with AA (AmericanAirlin...
