Re: brussels airlines operating the A380... any chance?

I think there is no chance to see an A-380 at BRU and nor in SN colors for two reasons. 1) the infrasructure of the piers are not ready for a double deck aircraft. It cost to adapt a gate and BAC will not agree to pay it for sporadic use. 2) SN will not take the A-380 as they are under control of LH...

Re: Cargo B financial woes ?

Does anybody know what Cargo B will do with OO-CBA?

Since the tailstrike, it was stored near LH Technics, then moved near the Satellite. They removed the radar equipment and 2 motors at this time. and since few month OO-CBA is parked on the APRON 40.

Re: New LCT at Brussels Airport opens 25 October 2009

It's simple if you know why. There are few reason about it. 1) The OT (OT = Old Terminal, NT= New Terminal. E.G. : NT = New Terminal 5th floor) need to be completely restored. It was never done since the Universal Exposition. The most part of offices used by BAC in the 3 last years were OT4, 5, 6 an...

Re: BRU 19/06/2009

Hello,

Is it possible to find info about flight of AN-124 to or from BRU on the web? If no, is it possible to be informed via the forum.

Thx

Re: BRU 19/06/2009

Hello, I was yesterday at the train station of Brussels south. I seen at 17:50 something which look like an AN-124 : big but without bump as the 747, 4 motors and on the tail, a light blue and a yellow stripes. This plane was coming from the direction of BRU and was still in take-off phase. Could so...

Re: Security chaos at Brussels last night

Hello, BRU received a bad report from the audit about the security. The consequence was that the security employee are now respecting point to point the rules --> longer delay to pass the security control. I hears some info about the project from BAC to reduce the cost of exploitation : Now, you hav...

You will be very disappointed. BAC is thinking about a reduction of the peoples working for the security control.

I work for Siemens Telecom at BRU as phone and network engineer. Always walking in the nicest place to work (payed to see airplanes)
