Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Well yes everything is said! Still today ( Kigali canceled today and Toronto tomorrow...and...and...and...)... plane broken down ... it lasts for months but not for the same reasons ... but still down. LH does not care. SN becomes a company to avoid if you want to go from airport A to airport B. No...

The absence of AA is really something strange if you ask me, wherever from in the USA.

SA never served BRU if I'm not mistaken, or that must be over 30 years ago?!

From the Far East we have MH, MU, OZ and of course SQ who have come and gone.

Or the famous TP LIS-BRU-MFM ;)
GA came too !

San Francisco and Singapore are off the table for next summer season?
I thought United would start SFO?
And Singapore airlines to SIN?
In any case I think that if something is on the table it will not be the work of the said national carrier

Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines

I read the article on "Budapest secures boost with Shanghai airlines" ... daily flights to Shanghai. On the other hand BRU the airport which serves a tourist city and an important political capital: zero flight! Let's look for the mistake!

Re: Austrian Airlines in 2019

Amazing how about every single topic here turns into an anti Brussels Airlines topic. Objectively: no network (except Africa/ Europa), countless cancellations of long-haul flights (the latest dated yesterday), delays of up to 4 or 5 hours ... and indeed a CEO who interview does not seem not be up t...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019

I will not return to the festival of cancellations that seems to start again at SN. Only 7 long-haul planes in the air and no possibility to find a replacement plane. No Toronto as usual. That said, all flights to Africa usually leave daily with significant delays. What can justify it? Zero anticipa...

Re: Transavia to fly from BRU with 2 Boeing 737s in Summer 2020

BRU is not fortunate to have a major operator ... and SN has never found the luster of the Sabena of yesteryear. And LH does not know what to do with SN. In addition, BRU is globally cut off from Western, Central and South America, as well as from Asia, not to mention Oceania. To fly south or west, ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Does anyone know for sure if SN is legally (juridisch/juridiquement) separated (divorced) from EW ? Are they standing alone ? (as LH still leaves SN in limbo). Like other members rightly pointed out, it is not by shrinking that you solve the problem. Expanding in promissing/profitable markets is pa...

What now? (apart from the 13 December strike which reminds of the end of Sabena) There will be at least a time out till next week, when the Pope is back from Thailand and Japan. I can't imagine that the Italian government will have him stranded there. No worries, I am 99% sure Alitalia will still b...

Small balance ... BRU lost BOMBAY and SHANGHAI ... no novelty ... we do not hear about SFO ... probably nothing on the side of SN until 2022.
Am I negative or close to reality. ..?

Service on business is also reduced dramatically.. That was the case already a few months back... Problems is that business tickets within Europe can cost around EUR 1000. I think that it is scandalous that one needs to pay for water after having spent almost 600 EUR for a 50 min flight On flex&fas...
