About the wi-fi discussion it is important especially on long haul knowing that they are also day flights I find that it's missing very hard and it is really not a luxury anymore!
From Luanda it's only Brussel Airlines and RAM flying without WiFi.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024
You know the crew are overnighting in “tents” in a National Park lodge close to Ndjili. Why are they not in a hotel? Might not have looked in the right places but I couldn't find out. They stopped going to the Memling Hotel because it was a 3h driving to arrive there it's a big mess between the Air...

Re: BRU Summer 2024: news, new routes, airlines
EASA is a guiding line That's why I asked what BRU airport is using. EASA, the European Aviation Safety Agency is probably not reliable for Belgian politics ;) DL is still flying with the B767 bcs they don't have enough new planes to use them to BRU as for them is not a main destination which AMS a...

Re: BRU Winter 2023-2024: news, new routes, airlines
BRU was once very well connected to Asia with Malaysia Airlines (DC10/747) Garuda(747/DC10)Air Lanka (L1011) Singapore (747) and of course Thai and China Eastern(A340/MD11)..Same for Africa(Cameroon airlines, Air Mauritius,SAA, and several Congolese,Air Zimbabwe too, allthough think the latter not ...

Re: BRU Winter 2023-2024: news, new routes, airlines
BRU used to have many long haul carriers at the end of the nineties(VASP/China Eastern/Cubana/US airways/American to name a few) and before that even more BUT the Big 3 (EK/QR/EY) from the Middle East with their low fares and good service took every other competition away..And there is also the fac...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2023
In terms of seating it depends where in the cabin you look (compared to SN's standard A320) - First row is the same - Then you have 5 rows at 31" followed by 4 at 30" vs. 9x30" on the A320ceo - First 9 rows are reclinable, at a higher degree than the (unitil now standard) Recaro seat...

Re: Belgian Air Force news
On his recent visit to Israel, PM De Croo's airplane broke down in Cairo. https://businessam.be/vliegtuig-de-croo-valt-in-panne-in-cairo/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Apparently, members of the Belgian government (and royal family) have to fly foreign, private planes as our Air Force d...
