Hi Erwin, You are correct that there are a lot of 'advantages' that are not special at all. For me the most important things are: the extra luggage for African (and other flights), the access to the lounge even with Y ticket to do some work while waiting for a delayed flight (including someone who f...

Lucky you Danny. That is something I will never get, seeing as SNBA have greatly reduced the fare types which qualify for miles (all the tickets I have booked with them this year have suddenly been excluded, even though they were eligible when I booked them, they weren't when I came to bloody trave...

Hi all, I think we should not only look at the Y/C ratio. SNBA is doing relatively well because 1) they have at least C pax, 2) they have a lot of 'normal' pax (not paying the cheapest, 3) they fill the rest of the plane with special (lower) fares. In addition, they are saving costs the whole time (...

Well I don't fly in C, so I can't compare the service SNBA is giving and the one other carriers are offering. But those of you who know all that, could you maybe tell me what other carriers like LH,AF,BA.... offer more in C class for small european flights compared to SN's C class ?? Greetz Chris 8...

And IMO it's only fair as the C/Cl confort and service on medium haul flights is still far below most competitors... SN might be okay in coach but it's not currently a good carrier for business passengers! VFlies Hi VFlies, I do not agree with you ... I flew in business on a lot of airlines: AZ, LH...

Just became Privilege Gold (SNBA)
Hi all, Surprise to me when I saw that I became Privilege Gold member last month. This means that I flew 40.000 miles in one year. :D :D I checked on the SNBA website and Privilege Gold gives some extra advantages: additional luggage without paying, access to lounges even if you have a ticket econom...

Hi all, I think it would not be a bad idea to start some weekly flights: the AVRO85 or 100 is something else than the 737. Even with 3 flights a week for business people a direct flight is + since you don't lose that much time. A collegue of mine went to Tallin rcently through AMS and neede more tha...

SNBA is taking over the lease of the 3 Birdy Airlines A330-300 at the end of October. There is no discussion about that. The lease for these aircraft runs for another year after the takeover, after that SNBA can decide what it wants to do as far as the long haul is concerned. The A330-300 has an ex...

Getting Golden Privelige Card of SNBA
Hi all, I was suprised when I found that I will probably become a golden privilege member of the SNBA frequent flyer program (will have a total of 40000 miles over the last year end of April) ... I am really proud of that! I saw that there are some advantages for being so: more luggage, access to lo...

Aren't those B737's still on order pax planes that still need to be changed to cargo planes :?:  Anyway, it's sad to hear that SNBA lost this big contract. But why would Club Med switch if they allready signed the contract with SN (at least it seemed like that in the press release) :con...

Thx for completing the stats OO-VEX ;) And many thx for the wishes André ;) I only have 2 to go :) It's nice to see that SN managed to increase the load in comparison to last year, but I would have expected a slightly better result :? (even if January is a very weak month). Let's hope they were abl...
