Ryanair - Vigo (VGO) to Dublin (DUB) - B738 - AUG 2016

I wasn't expecting to do a trip report, in fact this is my first one. But I guess Vigo ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vigo%E2%80%93Peinador_Airport ) is a European Airport which most of you have not had the opportunity to travel from, and I noticed a few interesting things, so here it goes: FLIGHT ...

Re: Brussels-Dublin & return with Aer Lingus

Great report! I fly this route very often with both airlines.
Interestingly Aer Lingus are changing their schedule for the first time in many many years, so that the evening flight time matches the Ryanair schedule (>1 hour earlier). I will still prefer Ryanair though, less risk of delays.

Re: BRU Summer 2016: news, new routes, airlines

Wow! It's not surprising that they have cancelled the route, with such strong competition on it. It is surprising however to see it take effect immediately  They must be reassigning that aircraft to Barcelona where they are having significant operational issues respecting schedules. Gives a c...

Re: Eurowings vs. Brussels Airlines

And what about long haul Brussels Airlines and short haul Eurowings ?
Then you would have a tiny airline called Brussels Airlines, which makes marketing and brand recognition really difficult.

Re: Brexit and Airbus

However, if the UK is no longer part of the European Union, it's unlikely that Airbus will invest further in the U.K.
Wrong, nothing will change. Except if the UK reduce corporation tax, then Airbus might invest a whole lot more.

Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

and will certainly not fail to forward this to the federal police
But isn't that the problem, the airport not getting involved in every part of the passenger's journey from arrival at the airport to boarding the aircraft :(

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2016

Most unusual indeed. Maybe LIL was the best airport where stranded passengers could continue to their final destination with another aircraft from another airline? Just guessing...
Lille was the nearest airport with good enough visibility conditions (no low cloud or rain/fog).

I believe this shopping mall detour is not health and safety compliant. The passage is too restricted. ...
