eurostar

I think that many pax prefer eurostar to flights from belgium to london..it is much quicker if end destination is central London. BA works a lot on transfer passengers and business pax for the many companies located not too far away from heathrow. VLM seems to be doing well to lcy. Similar situation...

asian tourists

What was mentioned about Japanese tourists is true. Compact and fast as they only enjoy up to 10 day holidays per year (similar to US). Although keep in mind that they spend HUGE amounts when they embark on their blitz trip to Europe, US, or Australia.. Price is almost never an issue, besides luxury...

hunt for tourists

Indeed Bruges needs to send its people out there and attract tourists...relying on the Dutch, French, British, or german tourists is not enough. Most of the neighbours have already seen the city, and face it is a lovely place but not really a repeat destinantion (my opinion of course). I think that ...

industry

welcome to the forum, great to hear from people everywhere. Little remark about your campaign though. keep in mind that avaition is an industry where money is made or lost. The reason you have direct flights to only 11 european cities is probably because there are not enough passengers for the 12th ...

That is racial profiling...illegal in the "civilised world". ALL bags must be searched not only those of Palestinians or non Jewish Israelis. Acts of terror can also be commited by jews, hence ALL lugage must be screened not only 1/4.. If that is not possible, flights MUST be scrapped altogether.

It is a scandal that sane people still actually fly to that country... such practices are unacceptable whatever reasons are... better sorry than safe I would say...when machines are not available security personel can do the sreening manually... just imagine SNBA or Virgin express refusing passenger...

On the other hand when VLM flew to GVA from Deurne -now that was something - it tooka bit over 2 hours door to door. What a shame they dropped the route.....Indeed VLM does it bette...

I use BRU on a weekly basis..i live and work in antwerp. There is no way to use public transportation if my flight departs at 07:00 am or earlier. I will simply miss my flight, I need to use my car and park at the airport. I also avoid taking last flights into BRU as with a simple delay of 30 min (v...

I agree with Andre...try and get to zaventem by train...and try to get to BRU from Antwerp a nightmare....a shame for a country claiming most dense railwaysystem in Europe (and probably in the world)... I think that it is a bit more complicated for Alitalia as Rome is the capital of Italy, AZ will not drop domestic trafic that easily. In line with what swissair, and later swiss did in Geneva. Concentrating on a single hub at ZRH, opening the way for easyjet to dominate traffic out of GVA.
