Re: Air Antwerp, a new airline from Deurne ?

Best of luck and hopefully they'll replace the F50 soon with a different type as it's hard to find spare parts ..

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

I really don't understand their policy. They want one brand name to develop an European low-cost company and for this they want to integrate Brussels Airlines and change its name to Eurowings. But what they are doing now is changing Brussels Airlines in basicly two companies. Brussels Airlines (the...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

BRU-TLL is operated by LO/Nordica and not by SN so that doesn't change a lot for you on that route, If you're miles and more you still get miles etc on EW/SN flights for SK Gold no idea to be honest as Eurobonus has it's own benefits but it's logical they give more benefits to Miles&More and SN/EW'...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

It might be true that Brussels Airlines is not well known in some European countries. Maybe the airline should have kept the name Sabena for that matter. But is the name Eurowings better known outside of Germany, and now Austria? And where it is known, it has a bad reputation after the numerous del...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

for the passenger it doesn't change a lot I agree and I disagree The painting or name outside of the plane, though boring, doesn't make or break it. It'll do the job just as well There's some brand awareness and marketing blabla, but in the end it's not that important Though, where I disagree is th...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Of course ... think the future for Brussels will be clear .. European flights will go under the EW brand now... But then what's the point of having special liveries like Brueghel, and then have some boring EW livery at the same time? At least the Star Alliance livery makes sense. It really starts t...

OO-SFT is just atm flying to PGF as SN9903, is this already the phaseout or just maintenance? Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

I don't know if it was already mentioned. OO-SNN ( MSN4269 ex OE-LOE) will join the Brussels Airlines fleet in june 2019. Didn't get OE-LOE but OE-LOG. Ex Air Berlin, 17th A320 for Brussels Airlines and youngest of the fleet, only 9 years old, currently at Larnaca, Republic of Cyprus. To be exact S...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

I hope LH realises they have nothing to gain by scrapping the name Brussels Airlines, but I fear the worst. I know from people working at the airport that the e-mails coming from staff in the b-house now have a 'Eurowings' signature (the text that appears under each e-mail), there is no more sign o...

Re: BRU Winter 2019-2020: news, new routes, airlines

Air Canada will upgrade its Montreal service this winter from the previously planned 787-8 to 787-9. Source: https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/284038/air-canada-nw19-long-haul-changes-as-of-24apr19/ I guess that would make the 789 the most frequent long-haul aircraft at BRU, behind ...

Just wondering, OO-SFB has been in brussels for a really long time now, is it going to be repainted soon in Brussels Airlines colors?

LOL only 2 weeks, repaint is not in the pipeline yet as they need all the planes in their daily operations ... especially with SFU being grounded

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

Brussels Airlines, a.k.a. Eurowings will get a shitload of used A330s it seems. Not necessarily a problem tough. the used A330's are all maximum 10y old so it seems with quite efficient Trent 700 engines. Not only that: Brussels Airlines doesn't really has flights of 11+ hours. The A330's are perfe...
