There are doors right at the passport control area, but for some reason they don't use them any more. I've heard quite a few fellow bus-riders comment on this, and their conclusion is that as SN doesn't have any competition on the Geneva - Brussels route they can afford to treat us poorly. VEX flie...

This is certainly not to irritate passengers, the busses are always ready to bring the pax to the B-terminal. Yes, but right in the middle of Terminal B, from where it takes 5 minutes to walk to passport control. It would be much nicer to brig them near the passport control. My point exactly. Nice ...

(why do Geneva flights always end up at the Schengen terminal? Normaly they would depart at the non-shengen (B-) pier but because most of the times the inbound flights are from shengen countries and thus ending up in the A-pier. So by bus from B to A. Never been bused to an airplane on departure, t...

According to the flightplan UR-82073 will leave BRU on 07/12/2005 ETD: 0900 LT I arrived at BRU this morning at around 1030 and saw the lights flashing on that big bird. By the time they got us on the bus (why do Geneva flights always end up at the Schengen terminal?) it began to taxi - I assumed f...

And with BA you pay all the charges PLUS the fuel surcharges. That should be part of the price.

I was unaware about this very strange government behaviour. So the state interferes with who gets a discount? Didn't know that Lenin had so many followers in Scandinavia. According to them it is a competition issue. Other (domestic only, short-haul regional) airlines apparently find it difficult to...

Re: Lines between countries of different wages

Also Bermuda II refers to IATA for prices, right? Bermuda I did (and it was that agreement that created the IATA traffic conferences) but that was the only agreement the US ever signed that mentioned IATA. Bermuda II is not liberal in respect of pricing, and is a single disapproval (i.e. if either ...

why doesn't SNBA have the authority for fare-paying pax? For the reason that it is still a bilateral world. In order for SN to have traffic rights from DKR to BJL the Belgium Government would have had to have negotiated 5th freedom rights from both Senegal and Gambia. Of course either government co...

Have a look at this editorial in Air Transport World. A couple of highlights: Perhaps instead of a questionable quick-fix solution, the EU should take a long-range view, one that seeks to improve the overall standard of safety. [...] Alternatively, it could require that airlines operating to and wit...

IMHO this is just a media campain to give the idea that the European Parliment is actually good for something. With the exception of Flash, who no longer exists, none of the airlines on the lists have actually had a crash in the last years. Air Kyro has never flow to Europe. Also Phucket Airlines, m...

So, even if a LX-UA connection is better for me, the customer, I'll get a phony LX-LX(AA) connection. It's still an interline connection but because of this milarky I lose out. Bah humbug

Bah Humbug,

All code-sharing should be banned. Lying to your customers, that's all it is. What's wrong with an interline connection (other than the CRS shows those last)?

How many aeroplanes would you need

It isn't simply a question of why don't they put an aeroplane on the route but how many aeroplanes they would need! Consider LHR-SYD block to block 21h35m. Ground stop at SYD around 8 hours. SYD-LHR block to block 23h05m Ground stop at LHR around 14 hours. To operate a daily flight each way you woul...

Re: Why codeshare?

This is something I frankly don't understand... Well it is complicated. A lot of is to do with how the GDS display connecting flights and select fares. This affects how a connection is displayed on the screen, and as we know 99.9999876 (aprox) of sales come from the first screen. Because of governm...

My experience at Brussell Security - Terminal B

Well I flew out and back to Brussels last week. Having read this thread I made a point of getting to the airport as soon as I could (Taxi rather than Taxi/train) (€35 rather than €10) and got in the queue. I got the queue on the extreme right side which is supposed to be for staff and PRMs but they ...
