Because KLM is the contracted maintenance organisation for this aircraft and there were specific aircraft parts, supplies and tooling onboard.

Re: 2011 Liège Airport (LGG) latest news

Adding to my previous post:

Apart from OO-TNG, 2x BAe146-200QT will be phased-out this year as well: OO-TAR and OO-TAQ
Possibly 1 from PanAir as well, and that would be EC-HDH

Rumours are they will be scrapped on site in LGG...

GR.

Re: 2011 Liège Airport (LGG) latest news

From Johan Vanneste on Twitter: If my data is correct, TNT is now largest airline in Belgium, operating largest aircraft: 47 in total, plus 3 x 777F and 1x757 on the way. To be precise: 4x747-400ERF, 4x767, 2xA300, 4x757, 13x737 (more on the way), 20xBAe146, + before end of the year 3x777F (new), 1...

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

Why not be a feeder for TNT and also carry pax ? ??? TNT is giving back to lessors the only a/c able to carry passengers (B737QC), only a Ba146 left, and the A318 is not reputated for its cargo abilities... I think Acid-drop meant to say: be a feeder for TNT , meaning flying cargo for TNT at night ...

NCB, I think you're on the wrong forum... Het Laatste Nieuws is where I would expect your comments... Let's get you up to date. 1. Type 4 is banned industry-wide, unless you are at a remote station where no other option is available. 2. Type 1 is used for de-icing, when build-up of snow and ice on t...

Re: Furious Ryanair passengers refuse to leave plane at Lieg

OK, a lot of these responses just indicate to me you some of you really don't have a clue about how aviation works. If you think police assisting in a security matter like this is a waste off taxpayers money, no matter which country the aircraft is based in, then I can only regret that. I just hope...

I think CX, that Tolip and others meant to say that we all wanted accurate measurements and educated decisions based on something else than just simulations of the London Met Office. You may have interpreted that as a "we want to fly no matter what is up there" but that is not what they m...
