Would you book with an airline that still does not fulfill all conditions to start flying ?

Re: Air Belgium in 2018

I am not keen on seeing them fail, on the contrary, but I am basing myself on the facts so far. There is a difference between knowing and believing in someone and the harsh reality of having to make money. IF they succeed, I will be the first to admit I was wrong. At this stage it does not look good...

Re: Air Belgium: a rebirth?

All this speculation about AB by ignorant people who think that you just need a few hundred extra meters of runway to start a successful airline makes me laugh. AB will be a dead born or short lived baby or rather more a fantasy. VG airlines bis.

The A350 is temporary. Both Qatar and Thai return to the 787/777 after the summer.

I have asked the same question to Brussels Airlines. After 2 complaints from my side that I did not get any reply, the press service answered and apologized. They told me they are asking themselves the same questions as I was (I have a flight booked on BruAir next weekend). No further reaction to m...

OK, coming back to the "trouble" at bru.air. Anybody here who can predict what are the chances of disruption to normal operations next Tuesday (8 May)? I am booked on BRU-THF-BRU on that day and if there is a risk of strike or other delays, I will change that to BRU-TXL-BRU with LH. Thank...

I have not waited for these endless negotiations as I need to catch a flight at LGW this weekend. I have booked us on Eurotunnel, so if they decide to go on strike anyway, I will have an alternative to catch my connecting flight.

One more thing : this will be my last booking with BruAir.

Does anyone on this board have the courtesy to tell me latest next Friday if the pilots will be working on 5 May ?

Jet aiways will become the "big'' long haul carrier out of Brussels. even bigger than the national carrier Bru air.... shame for Belgium If there is 1 economic sector in which national interests should not play a role, it is the airline industry. We must get rid of this silly idea that every c...

All the arguments here are very well, but the bottom line is : what does all this unrest do for the image of a new and fragile airline ? Belgium already has little appeal internationally and the airport is only used for a fraction of its capacity. Anyone considering to fly BruAir will think twice wh...

Continental BRU-EWR

When I look at the seating plans of Continental flight 61 (BRU-EWR), these flights are always quite full, especially the business section is nearly always completely booked. Any explanation for this ?

Load factors on trans Atlantic flighs from bru

How are the American airlines serving BRU doing ? It seems that Continental is practically flying full planes every day, judging by their seat preview on their website. How are American, United and Delta doing ?
