Re: Jetairfly policy towards young pilots

I think its fairly clear , he is pointing out the fact that JAF charge youngsters 25000 for a type rating and then boot them at the end of the summer and then keep hiring new guys for the following summer . Not a very ethical practice by JAF , but why wouldn't they do it if they have enough fools wi...

Re: Legislation on accepting passengers during flight in coc

If a passenger is known to me I can let him on the flight deck , simple as that , as long as I act within any company SOPs or indeed legis...

Re: Legislation on accepting passengers during flight in coc

Been asked many times for a jumpseat by people, probably by many people on this site as well , I always refuse , I would however love to invite people to the flight deck during the flight , but it is because of petty people like you that I refuse , I just can't be bothered anymore with dealing with ...

Re: Legislation on accepting passengers during flight in coc

It's allowed , except in england . Some companies may forbid it by SOP but there is no legislation about it . Why would you complain about this ? Did it affect you ? Did the commander make an unsafe decision ? How do you know it wasn't another member of staff ? or an engineer ? or a member of the CA...

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news 2012

This could end up being very bad for Bru Air , in the sense that FR are now in a regional airport and are not really in direct competition with them (IE) FR don't really care about Bru Air , they are too small to bother with so FR just do their thing at CRL regardless of what anyone else does . If h...

Ireland didn't get any aid from anybody , it got a loan , which has so far been paid back as and when it should be including the interest .

crew 1990 , crawl back in your hole , almost 5 hours of flight for underprivileged kids , there are far cheaper ways to get a bit of publicity than this . FR make large contributions to various charities throughout the year with absolutely no publicity whatsoever .
