The Foreign Affairs Crisis Center can be reached by phone on 02/5014000 from 9.00am to 8.00pm.
Better have an emergency at the right time of day or in a not too distant time zone, apparently.

A contribution of e.g. 10% to the costs of EASA is certainly cheaper than doing 100% of the same job alone at the UK CAA.
Certainly ?

I'd like to see the figures that back up your statement.

(I have absolutely no idea one way or the other, to be honest.)

How come Easyjet offers only 5 destinations from BRU, but dozens (I didn't count them) from AMS ?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Is it me, or does the Brussels Airlines website really suck ?

On Google Chrome, on Mozilla Firefox, on Internet Explorer : it crashes.

A temporary fault or do other people experience the same thing ?

Best airline in the world, imho. The only one that comes close is Cathay Pacific.
And Emirates or Qatar?!
Nowhere near as good.

Re: Transavia to fly from BRU with 2 Boeing 737s in Summer 2020

Brussels Airport is actively promoting itself in the Netherlands as an alternative to Schiphol. The arrival of a Dutch airline will undoubtedly be welcomed by BRU, as it may help in attracting Dutch passengers.

It's confirmed by Tuifly that Miami will be back in service as from 31 March 2020. The route will be twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday.
Great ! I'm visiting relatives in Miami next year. So far, however, Aer Lingus seems to be cheaper than tuifly, although there's a stopover in Dublin.

If it's illegal for passengers to engage in skiplagging, then it should also be illegal for airlines to overbook their flights.
