Re: Transavia to fly from BRU with 2 Boeing 737s in Summer 2020

Brussels Airport is actively promoting itself in the Netherlands as an alternative to Schiphol. The arrival of a Dutch airline will undoubtedly be welcomed by BRU, as it may help in attracting Dutch passengers.

It's confirmed by Tuifly that Miami will be back in service as from 31 March 2020. The route will be twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday.
Great ! I'm visiting relatives in Miami next year. So far, however, Aer Lingus seems to be cheaper than tuifly, although there's a stopover in Dublin.

Re: Lufthansa is trying to sue passengers for skiplagging

If it's illegal for passengers to engage in skiplagging, then it should also be illegal for airlines to overbook their flights.

Edinburgh is a wonderful airport. I was there recently (though I don't like the "live" flight arrivals and departures on their website!)
The thing I didn't like about EDI is that there is no seating in the check-in area (unless you go outside).

Re: Ormoc City Airport, Philippines

The new terminal building at Ormoc Airport is nearing completion. Together with an improved, widened and lengthened runway, the airport is ready for operations starting 2020. It would have started much earlier, only super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) demolished the new terminal in 2013. https://assets.r...

Thanks for reporting flights that were apparently excellent.

You might want to replace Billund by Edinburgh ib the text ;)
Well spotted. You might want to replace 'ib' by 'in' in yours.

I'm still waiting for my damaged Luggage to be repaired or reimbursed from 2 years ago… On a lighter note, on my recent trip to Edinburgh, Zaventem Airport managed to give me back my Luggage undamaged. There is light at the end of the tunnel ! :)

Eurostar is not cheap and UK railcompanies are even more expensive.

As for flying to and from the UK, its not that far and can easily put in a schedule.

Why are the prices to the UK destinations that high from Brussels? Except for MAN, because Ryanair flies from CRL. I'm a bit miffed that the flight from Antwerp to Southend is ceasing, just when Loganair is starting its flights from Southend to Carlisle (handy to get to the Southwest of Scotland).
