Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

it appears that as from 28/10 ASL isn't operating for SN anymore as SN3628/3629 but instead SN is separating their own flights again to 06:50 and 09:25(now on SN metal) from SN3631/3632, 3633/3634 (SN metal) SN3628/3629 (ASL metal) to SN3631/3632 (SN metal) SN3628/SN3629 (SN metal) just temporary o...

Re: Alitalia near bankruptcy. Can it be saved?

2. The Italians won't leave the EU. All EU member states have seen what damage the brexit has caused. Not one single EU country will exit. That must be some crystal ball you've got. If Italy or any other country doesn't leave the EU, it's not because of so-called 'damage'. It's because, unlike the ...

Cebu as a destination may not be a bad idea at all. You'd be amazed at how many Filipino nationals there are in Belgium.

Yes, but they fly with Thai Airways with special conditions.
Says who? And what are those 'special conditions' ?

Re: VLM (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018

What's happening with the VLM tariffs between ANR and MUC,ABZ,MAN? as from sept/oct 2018 they are rather high as compared to fares on other VLM-city pairs. e.g. MUC return of EUR 472 as from early september... I was considering to book a city-trip to Scotland or MUC for me and my wife in sept, but w...

Why aren't authorities throughout Europe fining Ryanair for illegal practices? Why do they allow them to fly in the first place?

What is the best way to book tickets for these day trips? Do you go straight to the airlines' websites, or to a travel agent's website?

Re: Day trips

Thanks for the tip on booking two separate tickets instead of a return ticket. I never would have thought of that, because I never would have considered it woud make any difference, but I checked with a VLM flight from Antwerp to Aberdeen and 2 separate tickets are indeed cheaper.

Day trips

Excuse me for being a total noob, but how on earth do you go about making day trips for fun by plane? I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, if only I know how to do it and which destinations are most attractive (i.e. allow most time in situ) when traveling from BRU, so go on and share your experiences t...

It says here that Cityjet's Sukhois are used to fly to Billund. I flew Brussels Airlines to Billund last year and that was a FlyBe aircraft. Has Brussels Airlines stopped using FlyBe?

You can Always try to get a cheap second-hand telezoomlens. Shop around on the internet for a reliable camera store selling second hand lenses, but avoid Ebay.
