Traffic to Kinshasa disrupted after Cargolux blocking runway

Heard that traffic to Kinshasa is disrupted because of a Cargolux blocking the runway, don't know if it ran off the runway or just got stuck in the mud.

Somebody got more information?

Re: Lufthansa targetting Brussels Airlines

Different sources mention a b.air job security for the next 2 years, but this weekend this has been denied. This is a strange statement and this somehow worries me.

Re: Aviapartner strike

Aviapartner strike at least till 1300  a referendum will be held with employees concerned. Flightcare discussions between Unions and management have been cancelled yesterday night, no idea when the negotiations will be restarted. http://www.hln.be/hln/nl/1901/reisnieuws/article/detail/377418/...

New b.air destination: Eskisehir, Turkey , more info please?

Found on the internet that b.air will fly to Eskishir, Turkey (ESK) as from mid October every Sunday. Confirmation on this item please, if true: I would like to have more info: is this a new destination for b.air, is this a flight for Turkish Airlines, codesharing agreement?

My guess is that originally you had to fly on a RJ100 where 18F exists, the day after flight planning must have rescheduled that RJ100 on another route with higher loads so they gave you a RJ85 where 18F doesn't exist ;-) I shouldn't worry too much about this problem ;-)

André, just realise that good old business class won't come back. Bflex is just a flexible economy ticket. You get food, drink and a newspaper for free, period! passengers in bligth pay a ticket from A to B with a chance to buy food and drink, it's clearly written on the back of the menu (on availab...

Some people in this world should realise that an open communication to the outside world stops lots of rumours and gossips, especially in the aviation industry. I have never understood why the managment of company X dont join this forums and participate actively in it. Problem with a plane and membe...

Last week I have catched up a few rumours, can somebody confirm? brussels airlines´ punctuality has been dropped with quite a margin this week, already an effect of the 30 minute rotations? I have serious doubts that the management really wanted to have only 1 AOC. Divide et impera: In politics and sociology, divide and rule (also known as divide and conquer) is a combination political, military and economic strategy of gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations...

Strike will contain:

no blfex bligth service
cabin crew will be asked to wear the old uniform iso the new one
10' delay on every 30'rotation

Good action by the unions! At least the passengers are not to be kept hostage!
