A nice surprise! Taken on 3-29-21 KANZA91 KC-46A 15-46009 FL350. Unfortunately 30 minutes after sunset, so very grainy.

Taken on 3-24-21 NASA809 ER-2 (Tail number most likely 809 due to its callsign), FL600 PMD(Palmdale)-PMD. Cropped for easier viewing. Visible on FR24 and Planefinder, yet I thought it was invisible to the naked eye. Since it was routing over me, I decided to try to catch it with my 18-400mm lens. To my great surprise, it was actually quite visible (maybe because of excellent viewing conditions), but there it was. It looked like a small C172 at FL200. I have attached FR24 Screenshot.

Correct ISO setting for Sharpest Image

My 13-Year old son is into Contrail Spotting. He purchased a Sky-Watcher 6" and has our old Canon 80D connected. He is just having issues with grainy photos. I am not sure if it is just poor atmospheric conditions - this being Los Angeles Ca or his ISO setting is off. He sets his ISO to 100/400...
