Re: Impact of aviation on the Coronavirus crisis

The guy basically does what he wants here. Mods don't do anything about this guy. ( you should know this already ) Also: mods: the posts above could imply racism ( monkeys, I think Leopold also used those words... ) ;) but it's flanker and he gets away with all kind of bullshit. Whilst I fully agre...

Re: Boeing 747-8 news

It is also very clear that the world does not need big giant planes anymore. ( If a redesign is needed, it should be done on the 757-200 IMO ) Is it? Maybe for passengers there's currently (and in the next few years) no need for a 747 or A380, but what after those years? The aircraft used in 5-10 y...

Re: Boeing 747-8 news

With the news and confirmation that Boeing will stop the production of the B747, I have a question about it. The current one, B747-8, has of course a bit bigger engines than his former sisters, but why, and maybe this is a stupid question, why not replacing those 4 smaller engines by the fuel effic...

Re: BLUEBERRY

News from Sabca: UAS department ( drone department ) has been shut down until the end of August, special board of directors today to decide if the other business units will shut down as well for 3 weeks. ( even the space programs ) This is mainly due to Covid19; since the A350, A330 and A320 product...

Re: BLUEBERRY

Very good and again it becomes a Belgian company I am glad that all of you are optimistic :D I still have my doubts however. Everything will depend on how the aviation market evolves. I rather see more of a future in the space industry for Sabca, where it has quite a niche position ( providing actu...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

What do you guys think of this austrian idea of a minimum ticket price ? populist idea, or rather intelligent protection ? An absolutely useless green idea. Easy to circumvent. Example: Ryanair sells a ticket for 40 euros from Vienna to Barcelona, but offers free baggage and meal onboard. And someh...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

It is your right, Matt, to take a vacation abroad. I am fed up with the situation and with what is happening in this country, too. The grass in always greener on the other side of the fence. Well, actually, it is not, this time, with a very few exceptions. I do not want to offend you, but let me as...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

The airline that has the safest future right now is no less than Alitalia, because its future is not tied to other groups of airlines and the decisions are made by its own government. They are currently the biggest airline in Europe, they are operating essential routes at a loss but as a public ser...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Why would the Belgian State intervene in a foreign-owned business when it has sufficient liquidities to handle it themselves, and domestic companies like AB Inbev and small businesses are in a lot of trouble and barely getting any aid? LH is playing strip poker, already naked and bluffing with a po...
