This is what is happening when you are passionate about the company you are working for, and this is actually what you did too for years when you was working for Ryanair.
Sean was working for Ryanair.
But Sean you was not working for Ryanair.

Sorry, you was made me bouhhhh.

I'm far from an expert but given the particular situation both companies are in, I could imagine a Fortis-scenario for Tui and a Belfius-scenario for SN.
TUI BE doesn't need that (yet). The loan TUI secured a couple of days ago goes for the entire TUI group.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

I know, but we never give up and we always look forward. That's why we, not only me, are using "will" 😉 But I know what your point is. Aviation is unpredictable. When something is happening, it has an effect on aviation PS I think that I showed many times that I'm very credible 😊 Optimism is always...

@Atlantis; I have one little tip for you.

Never use « will » in aviation.

With such a tone, you cannot be credible.

Re: Impact of the coronavirus crisis on aviation

How many of those on that list are not funded by an foreign investment group? Indeed. Just like in many other countries on this planet. Unfortunately some people live on other planets, blame everything that is not 200% belgian but these guys would also not invest 1€ in anything either. I have a lot...

Ridiculous. For what reason do you want to see SN go bankrupt?
Because he needs his dentist more than SN.
Apart from that, I have some ideas but those wouldn’t last long before getting deleted by mods :)

Exactly. And some people who now predict how the bankruptcy of Brussels Airlines will be settled, are at job risk themselves.
And?

Due to COVID-19, I think that 737-7s will leave the fleet. Is there anything at TUI about ?
That’s the case since a long time, but things changed with the MAX grounding.

It’s too early to talk about fleet plans when nobody knows what’s going to happen in the coming months.

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2020

TUI Belgium received all its 737s leased to Miami Air a couple of weekdays ago. Miami Air goed bankrupt so they get the planes return to Brussels. Very sad that Miami go bankrupt and more planes for TUI May not be goed because of coronavirus less demand. All regs available = https://bit.ly/33VI2oY ...

Re: Belgian Air Force news

they can also use planes of Brussels airlines or Air Belgium. Why pay outside belgium if we have the planes in the country ? Belgian airlines back then were asked to make an offer for various planes to the BAF. HiFly was chosen. Scandalous, but very most likely the cheapest (but yes, it’s money for...

Re: Brucargo 2020: cargo routes & news

keeping the A330's idle isn't economical either .. ? different airliners who don't own cargo planes are transporting cargo in the main cabin as well ... maybe cargo flights are reserved for the mother airline LH Don't you think their management knows better than you do? Why the need to bring LH bac...

Re: Belgian Air Force news

No need to wonder ;-) the 350 is of course bigger than the 330.

What about the leased A330 from HiFly, do they still have a possibility to lease it/one if required? (Other than the standard ACMI contracts).

Re: Belgian Air Force news

I've read the A321 of the BAF is repatriating Belgians. Unfortunately there are still Belgians stuck in far away destinations a A321 can't reach. I hope the need for a long range jet within the BAF is clear now and will be discussed after this crisis. The Luftwaffe recently got this A350. It has a ...

The flights for TNT are most probably not booked as sheduled. Therefore this list might be correct indeed.
For BRU, for example, most flights handled by DHL are booked as chartered flights.
I obviously meant; this is not the list of all the movements that will happen in LGG today/tonight...

So where is the bottleneck ?
Why is qatar sending flights to maastricht and basel ?

Any pictures of the new parking spaces ?
The question is... where did you get this from? Why that question?
QTR is still flying to LGG, why would flights to MST & BSL imply there is a "bottleneck" in LGG???
