Re: Social actions at air traffic control service skeyes (Belgium) - possible air traffic disruptions

Don't worry, Phoenixx. This guy behaves the same way in every single thread that discusses social conflicts. He would never change his mind, whatever you tell him (and talking to a wall is never interesting). Like Poiu, I'm happy to see this is a grown-up, interesting and constructive discussion. It...

I accept your explanation. But when the planes are already registered OO, why re-register them OE ?
AFAIK that never happened?
Do you have an example?

Re: LGG 20/04/2019

Nice pics, wapo. I still don't understand why ASL Airlines "Belgium" is registering its planes in Austria. Previously, all these planes had an OO- registration. Are you sure? None of these planes were OO- before  It's much less of a pain in the a** to register those planes in Austria than ...

Re: Social actions at air traffic control service skeyes (Belgium) - possible air traffic disruptions

Thanks once again mvg & Phoenixx for these constructive inputs. This proves one more time that the medias manipulate people, instead of giving them the correct information. Another point in common here is that the skeyes management seems to be seriously blamed. Or more precisely; the CEO. I think it...

Passenger, myself and many others brought arguments and facts to defend our opinions. Phoenixx brought his arguments and you choose to believe him. This is your choice, we respect it but please respect ours to still have serious doubts. Mines do not come from RTL-TVI or from being always on the man...

And I don't invent, I simply ask...

Well nevermind!
OO-TUK is back at TUI BE.
OO-SRO is still at YOW, as planned.

Re: Social actions at air traffic control service skeyes (Belgium) - possible air traffic disruptions

People who participated in this topic have different views on the issues at skeyes. But we all agree on one point; this should stop.

What is currently being made within skeyes to stop this mess?

Jacques Brel maybe.... 90 years of his birth, why not... Hummm could be a good idea... I don't think it's a good idea for an airline to upset a lot of their clients in the north. After all, Brel is the singer from "...Messieurs les Flamingants, Je vous emmerde...." Non-flamingants probably don’t ca...

Re: Social actions at air traffic control service skeyes (Belgium) - possible air traffic disruptions

It is not really about such technical details. It looks more like what the English call a "willy-waving contest". It shows, with one example, the "(high) level" of the discussions and what some people are complaining about: 12 hours of work worth one week by going to work 3 times (with 6000€+/month...

Re: Social actions at air traffic control service skeyes (Belgium) - possible air traffic disruptions

Why not acting differently: get back to work and let the airlines fly for free through the airspace? There is a department in Skeyes dealing with billing the airlines: get them on the Atco’s side or block their data source so that they can’t send the bills to the airlines anymore. Things are then g...

Re: Social actions at air traffic control service skeyes (Belgium) - possible air traffic disruptions

It looks like ATCO's are getting some support from the aviation community ! Don't be ridiculous. Of course we know they are right from the start. We all know Belgium is a country with massive issues, and we can expect a huge mess at the ATC level, just like anywhere else in Belgium. They fight for ...
