Re: BRU 15/05/2021

I don't know whether it's a one off or if it already happened before but nevertheless, an A330-900 from Azul just took off from BRU: https://www.flightradar24.com/AZU9998/27b9759d I could hear a slightly unusual aircraft sound, something between an A350 and a 787 (I live a few km west of the 25R) ar...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Flew WAW-BRU with SN yesterday morning. First time I was on that 06:45 flight (due to misconnection the evening before, not unusual with LOT). Was a full boat but for 4 seats. After boarding, Capt Speaking announced a 30-minute delay due to restrictions at EBBR (07L arrivals) which triggered the ne...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2018

Unusual go-around today 31/8 at BRU: TK3926 was on approach on the 01, then aborted the approach (was still over Wezembeek), headed west at 3700 ft till about Gent, made a 270° right turn, followed by a 90° left turn from where it started an approach on the 07L while the 01 was still active for land...

Re: BRU 09/06/2018

It has spent exactly two hours in BRU. That's a long fuel stop! What a waste. It's interesting to notice that a fuel stop may be required for a flight that usually doesn't exceed 11 hours. It's normally well within the A340's capabilities but Bogota airport must be really challenging. It seems the ...

Re: Air Belgium in 2018

Their main target is to fly Chinese tourists to Europe at dirt cheap prices. So before flying them back to China, they first need to get them in Europe. I don't think that they will ever transport many Belgian travelers to HK, especially considering that they operate from CRL and that CX is serving ...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation

The so called "canal route" is just a pure political joke, only used during the week-end. The sooner we get rid of it the better. I don't know if you're replying to my post just above, but your input doesn't invalidate my proposal. The fact remains that non of the communities can enjoy a ...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation

I haven't read the whole 13 previous pages (but I will catch up), but here is my attempt of a realistic compromise. It doesn't help to comply with the Brussels noise regulation, but I believe it could be seen as an improvement for the communities currently exposed to the aircraft noise around BRU. F...

Re: BRU 13/02/2017

Hi, There were 3 successive go-arounds today around 9.30am on the 01. They occurred within 5 minutes. The first one was executed by a British Airways A319 or 320. Does anyone know the reason for these multiple go-arounds? Aircraft on runway, birds,...? The landings on the 01 resumed shortly after an...
